Hello,

Lovelies.

It's Dr.

Thomas with Blackmagic.

Today,

This meditation is an invitation really to release any identity or identities that were handed to you,

Not necessarily chosen by you.

Together,

We'll breathe ground and gently let go of any roles,

Labels,

And expectations that no longer reflect who you're becoming.

So let's begin by settling into your breath.

We'll start with a slow,

Gentle inhale through your nose for 6.

We'll hold it for 2 and then exhale slowly through your mouth for 8.

And again,

We'll do this twice.

So let's get settled in.

We'll do that again.

Hold for 2.

Exhale softly through your mouth.

Allow your body to soften into whatever it is that is supporting you.

Let your shoulders melt,

Jaw loosen.

Let the breath guide you into presence.

And if it feels comfortable,

Gently close your eyes.

This meditation is here to help you let go of those identities that have weighed you down,

The ones that shaped by other people's expectations,

Their assumptions,

Or even their misunderstandings.

You don't have to carry those anymore.

Let's ground the body.

I want you to bring your awareness to your feet.

Feel the ground beneath you,

Steady and supportive.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

Exhale out.

Shift your attention to your chest.

Notice the rise and fall of your breath.

This is your inner home,

Your inner knowing,

The place where your true identity lives,

Unaltered,

Unpressured.

And as you continue breathing,

Gently ask yourself,

What identities am I holding?

Maybe it's a label someone assigned you,

Role that you felt obligated to play,

A story someone told about you.

About who you should be,

A version of yourself that you outgrew a long time ago.

Whatever arises,

Whatever comes forward,

Just let it come forward.

No judgment,

No pressure,

Just notice it.

Just awareness.

Imagine that each identity that doesn't belong to you is represented by a small stone you've been carrying in a bag over your shoulder.

Feel the weight of that bag.

It's steady,

But familiar.

Now imagine yourself slowly lowering the bag to the ground.

Place it gently in front of you.

There's no need to open it,

No need to sort through it.

Just acknowledge that these identities are not your responsibility anymore.

Do you feel that weight off your shoulders?

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

Feel the release.

Feel the spaciousness returning.

Your center.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Notice how your body feels without the bag.

Ask yourself softly,

What part of my true identity feels more visible now?

Let that answer surface without any force.

Whatever comes to mind,

Let it be gentle.

Let it be enough.

Bring ourselves back to the room,

Back to the space.

Gently wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

Allow your eyes to slowly open.

Thank you so much,

Lovely,

For taking the time to release what no longer belongs to you.

I hope that you're able to walk forward feeling lighter and clearer and more connected to who you are,

The person that you said that you're going to be.

As this recording comes to an end,

I invite you to spend the next 20 minutes doing some reflective journaling.

Grab your pen and your favorite journal and allow your pen to move freely.

As always,

Without judgment,

Without structure,

Write about what you released.

Write about the identities you've outgrown.

Write about the space you feel open within you.

Write about what belongs to you now.

Let this writing become a continuation of your identity work.

I hope that you're able to deepen your clarity and I hope that it is able to support you in your becoming.

Remember,

Lovelies,

Wherever your focus goes,

Energy flows.

Peace and love.
