Hello,

I'm Heather and welcome to Awakening Desire.

Let's begin this journey by creating a safe and supportive atmosphere.

If you need to take a moment to arrange your surroundings,

Please pause and do so now.

Now,

Let's take a slow and relaxing breath in and allow it to release slowly.

Invite your body to settle exactly as it is.

No changing,

No fixing,

No performing,

Just arriving.

If it feels supportive,

Let your attention move towards something neutral.

The feeling of air on your skin,

The texture of your clothing,

A point of contact beneath you.

Allow yourself to be held,

To be safe in this moment.

And as you land,

Gently remind your system,

Nothing needs to happen.

This meditation isn't asking your body for desire,

It's simply inviting space,

Warmth,

Curiosity,

And possibility.

Your body is allowed to respond or not respond.

Either way is completely welcome.

Begin noticing places in your body where you feel even the smallest hint of life.

Maybe it's the warmth in your hands,

A subtle pulse in your chest,

A ripple of energy in your belly,

The soft expansion of your breath.

Give yourself permission to meet these places with tenderness.

Imagine yourself saying,

I feel you.

I'm listening.

I'm here with you.

This is the place where desire grows,

Not forced,

Not pressured,

But nourished by attention.

Allow your breath to drop a little deeper.

Not into the muscles of effort,

But into the sense of receiving.

Feel how your body expands as you inhale,

And softens as you exhale.

Allow each breath to melt a little more attention,

And let each exhale create more spaciousness inside you.

If it feels safe,

Gently guide your awareness to the space of your breath.

Allow your breath to melt a little more attention to the space of your breath.

Allow each breath to melt a little more attention to the space of your breath.

Allow each breath to melt a little more attention to the space of your breath.

All of it is intelligent,

And none of it is wrong.

Imagine a small ember glowing somewhere inside you.

A gentle warmth,

A quiet spark of aliveness.

Not a flame or intensity,

Just a soft ember.

And with each breath you take,

This ember grows warmer.

Not brighter,

Not louder,

Simply more alive.

Notice how this warmth moves.

Maybe pulsing,

Maybe drifting,

Maybe staying still.

Allow your body to guide the experience rather than your mind.

Give your hands permission to rest on your body.

Somewhere that feels safe.

Your heart,

Your arms,

Your belly,

Or your thighs.

Feel the contact.

The heat of your own touch.

The grounding of your presence.

This is you reconnecting with yourself.

Without forcing anything.

Allow a quiet question to float through your awareness.

What does desire feel like in my body today?

Not yesterday.

Not in the past.

Just here in this moment.

Allow the answer to be simple.

A sensation.

A warmth.

An emotion.

A whisper of curiosity.

As we come to a close,

Take one more slow breath.

Feel how it moves through your body.

How it touches places that may have been neglected or protected.

And offer yourself these words if they resonate.

My desire belongs to me.

I can awaken it at my own pace.

I am allowed to feel good.

I am allowed to reconnect.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes or widen your awareness.

And bring this sense of warmth and permission with you into the rest of your day.
