Reflections,

Love,
And heal thyself and to be happy,
Healthy,
Helpful,
And holy.
Together we will zoom into your deepest,
Most expansive,
And highest self to gain self-mastery.
This is Reverend Catherine Ganev Soto.
Thank you for being and for being here with me today.
In the previous episode,
I introduced the program,
A bit about me,
Shared about divine super souls and how best to work with this program.
If you didn't catch it,
I highly recommend listening to it first.
In the second episode,
I will begin our discussion of the foundation of the program covering the first of the foundational tools called observe,
Witness,
And contemplate.
Before we dive into the four dimensions of the self-mastery preschool for adults program,
We will cover the foundation.
We will build and often refer to,
Reflect on,
And come back to the foundation for support.
The foundation includes tools and practices to help you function optimally as an intuitive,
Sensitive empath.
The following foundations are meant to provide consistency,
Stability,
And support as you explore your own being.
The five tools include one,
Observe,
Witness,
And contemplate,
Which is the core practice of the program.
Two,
The empath,
Mindfulness for your day to day.
Three,
Aligning with sacred space.
Four,
Becoming consistent,
Persistent,
And resistant.
And five,
Tools to function optimally.
Today we will only cover the observe,
Witness,
And contemplate practice.
First prepare your environment.
Turn on your receiving mechanism and prepare the tools you use to learn.
Turn on your favorite healing sounds,
Receive your favorite essential oils,
And prepare to absorb what you wish.
Receive a few nourishing deep breaths and state aloud,
I choose to receive profound and transformational epiphanies,
Insights,
And peacefulness with ease and grace.
I choose to receive profound and transformational epiphanies,
Insights,
And peacefulness with ease and grace.
Observe witness and contemplate.
This practice is at the core of the program.
It allows for you to understand,
Heal,
And change the programs that no longer serve and to walk in truth.
It opens the doorways to know,
Love,
And heal thyself and to be happy,
Healthy,
Helpful,
And holy.
The practice puts the control and power into the self that is experiencing and thus it provides a space for understanding,
Opening,
Expanding,
And mastery.
Throughout this program I will bring this practice in for continued deeper reflection.
So what is it?
It's a process to help you go within to listen to and witness the energies,
Messages,
Wisdom,
And insight of the body,
Mind,
And spirit without attaching to them.
I'll say that again.
It is a process to help you go within to listen to and witness the energies,
Messages,
Wisdom,
And insight of the body,
Mind,
And spirit without attaching to them.
They help eliminate the pattern of reacting and resisting so that you can bring yourself present with whatever is arising and allow it to be.
When using this resource,
It is helpful to be silent and to listen and watch without doing anything to try to manipulate or change the structure of what is unfolding.
Your being will want to control out of habit and programming,
But the more you practice,
The easier it will become.
So let's talk about each of these.
Observe is in the vibration of understanding.
You are not seeking to understand.
You are not trying to do anything.
You are just noticing the significance of the experience.
Understanding is a natural result of this observation.
The formal definition of observe from the Random House Unabridged Dictionary is notice or perceive something and register it as being significant.
The following considerations can help you in this observing stage.
First,
Observe what the experience triggers within you,
So the significance of the experience.
Two,
Allow yourself to observe the experience and your emotions,
Feelings,
And thoughts regarding it.
Three,
Observe how the emotion coming through,
For example anger,
May elicit a feeling of anxiety,
Feeling anxious,
And then how that feeling may produce a thought of not being safe.
Observe that progression without doing anything with it.
Four,
The goal is to observe what is triggered and where in the body-mind it is triggered.
Five,
Be open and curious here,
Noticing what the experience triggers within you,
Such as perfect pictures,
Needing to meet an expectation to be perfect,
Being undeserving,
Or even shame.
And five,
Breathe with gentleness as you observe while sitting still and tall and peaceful.
So again,
You're just observing what the experience triggers within you and the significance of that experience without doing anything with it.
Just observing everything unfolding as it does.
Let's move on to witness.
Witness is in the vibration of healing.
You are not necessarily seeking to heal.
You aren't trying to force anything to heal.
You are gaining deeper knowledge through watching and accepting the experience unfold within.
From this witnessing,
Healing has the potential to take place.
The formal definition of witness from the Random House Unabridged Dictionary is,
Have knowledge of an event or change from personal observation or experience.
The following considerations can help you in this witnessing stage.
One,
Witness what is happening within your being and how your being wants to respond,
How it reacts by default,
The stories it creates,
And which pathways it wants to take.
Two,
Step outside of yourself and witness this magnificent play of events.
Don't try to change it.
Just witness it and accept it as it is.
You can think of yourself as a scientist with the magnifying glass really looking and witnessing what is unfolding.
Allow that what is happening to be seen with care and detailed attention.
That's number three.
Number four,
Surrender your need to do,
Wanting to fix or change,
And just be.
Witness the love flowing through every cell with compassion.
Number five,
Witness how your being wants to respond by default.
What action does your being want to take or is it attempting to take?
Six,
Recognize the movement and play of energy.
Again,
It's that witnessing,
Really looking at it and seeing what is happening,
Really seeing it.
And seven,
Receive the experience with awe and wonder,
Allowing it to be where it is,
Holding yourself with so much love and compassion without changing a thing.
Some may believe that observe and witness are very similar.
In one hand,
You're just observing something,
Oh,
This thing is taking place.
And in witnessing,
You're taking it to another level.
And in both cases,
You're not trying to do anything with it.
Contemplate is a little bit different.
Contemplate is in the vibration of transformation and change.
The formal definition of contemplate from the Random House Unabridged Dictionaries look thoughtfully for a long time at.
This is a perfect definition for contemplate in this practice.
Now that you acquired understanding from observing and open to a space for healing from the witnessing portion,
It is time to contemplate.
This can but isn't required to be done directly after observing and witnessing.
Trust your intuition.
Each may take their own significant amount of time,
And you only need to move on to the next step when you feel ready.
So the following considerations can help you in this contemplation stage.
One,
Contemplate,
Look at with thoughtfulness,
The experience and your involvement,
Your relationship with it,
So that you can eventually choose from a higher level of wisdom.
So you're looking at with thoughtfulness,
The experience and your involvement,
Your relationship with it.
Two,
Listen to the experience and to your being with the intent to understand it without harsh criticism and judgment.
Your intent is to understand,
Just like a scientist.
Three,
Contemplate why the experience is happening,
Why you are responding in such and such a manner and when the feeling or experience first occurred in your existence.
Four,
Recognize the blessings and the lessons from the experience.
Five,
Receive what you are ready to receive,
Be it wisdom,
Guidance or healings.
You may realize that more work is desired and that going deeper through the full practice multiple times will yield beneficial results.
You are the only one who can uncover the lessons and the answers.
Six,
Decide what it is you are willing to choose next based on observing,
Witnessing and contemplating.
Will you choose to respond as you may have previously or make a change in your habits,
Behaviors,
Thoughts,
Words and or actions?
And number seven,
What steps are you willing to take to get to where you desire to be?
Those who want to get fit exercise,
Those who want to be a Reiki master practice.
If you want to modify your thoughts and behaviors,
Practice doing so every day and every time you encounter triggers.
Work with this observe,
Witness and contemplate practice to help you evolve.
The triggers show up to help you evolve.
The results of your discoveries,
Especially in the contemplation stage,
May mean shifting your life in many ways.
Where you live may change.
Your desires will shift.
Friends will adjust.
Your view of life may be altered.
It all comes down to your choices.
What will you choose?
So how can you practice this?
When something is up for you and you are triggered,
You can usually tell when this is the case,
You're upset or flustered or frustrated or sad.
The space isn't always available for you to do this practice right away.
Make it a goal to get to a place where you can be so present in the moment that you can do this instantaneously,
But that may not happen right away and that's totally fine.
That's okay.
Take the time to understand and work with this practice on the mat so that it becomes second nature.
If you are in a space where it's possible to dive into the practice,
That's wonderful and I highly recommend taking advantage of that.
If it isn't,
No worries.
You can always put the experience and trigger in a holding bin to engage with this practice when you are in a space that is safe and supportive.
Once you get to a safe space where you are comfortable to try this,
First get comfortable.
Receive some deep breaths and come present,
Letting go of the past and the future,
Just being here now.
Place your hands upon the center of your chest over your heart to bring you in alignment with heart energy.
From here,
You can experience your heartbeat and breath move as the various vibrations moving through your body,
Should you choose to share your voice aloud.
It is a phenomenal connection to the self when you place your hands upon your heart and allow your voice to move.
I highly recommend trying it.
Now imagine a situation that you wish to work with to practice the observe,
Witness and contemplate stages.
As you are practicing within each stage,
Close your eyes to allow yourself to go within.
Permit yourself to be in each stage for as long as you like.
There is no requirement to do them one right after the other in the same setting.
You can spread them out over days.
Staying in any one stage for many days is appropriate based on the experience you are working with.
Trust your intuition.
Don't force yourself to move forward until you feel ready.
Journal your experience or just be with it.
Repeat as often as you desire.
You will uncover a pattern unfold if you do this often enough.
Over time,
You will be able to choose from a place of compassion and understanding without having to take so much time in each stage.
And depending on the intensity of the situation you are working with,
It may take some patience and persistence.
Give yourself the time you need.
Healing takes however long healing takes.
And please reach out to get support if you feel cold.
You aren't required to do this alone.
Let's talk about resistance with this practice.
When I was sharing this in my Self Mastery Preschool for Adults program,
Resistance came up as a common thread.
When we reflect in each stage,
We go in with a specific experience,
Which may be traumatic or intense and thus cause fear or resistance.
When resistance comes to the surface,
This is perfect.
Allow it to be.
Instead of trying to change anything or force yourself to observe and witness the experience you chose,
Allow yourself to observe and witness the resistance.
Allow the resistance to be the experience.
Sometimes our intelligent being will bring things to the surface that require attention prior to the experience we chose.
Rest and listen to your body,
Mind and spirit.
