Healing Through Grief,

A guided meditation for loss.

Welcome to this guided meditation for healing through grief.

Find a comfortable seated or lying position,

Allowing your body to relax completely.

Close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths.

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring your awareness to the sensations in your body.

Notice any areas of tension or discomfort and allow them to soften with each exhale.

Let go of any expectations or judgments and simply be present with whatever arises.

Now bring your attention to the emotions that you're experiencing.

Allow yourself to fully feel them,

Acknowledging their presence without trying to change or suppress them.

Know that it's okay to feel sadness,

Anger,

Or any other emotion that may arise.

As you breathe,

Imagine yourself surrounded by a warm,

Loving light.

Feel this light enveloping you,

Offering comfort and support during this difficult time.

Know that you are not alone,

That there are people who care about you and are here to support you.

Now bring to mind the person or thing that you have lost.

Allow yourself to remember them fondly and feel gratitude for the time that you had together.

Know that it's okay to miss them and that your love for them will never fade.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine sending love and light to the person or thing that you have lost.

Picture them surrounded by this love and feel a sense of peace wash over you.

Know that they are always with you in spirit and that their love will never leave you.

Now bring your attention back to your breath.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and each exhale,

And allow yourself to become fully present in this moment.

Know that it's okay to feel whatever you're feeling and that you are strong enough to get through this.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Take a moment to express gratitude for yourself and for your ability to heal.

Know that you are loved and that you have the strength to overcome any obstacle that comes your way.

Keeping the eyes closed and soft,

Sitting quietly for a few moments.

Keeping your eyes closed and soft.

When you feel ready,

Slowly begin to deepen your breath,

Bringing in any subtle,

Gentle movement back into your body.

Perhaps stretching if it feels good.

And when you're ready,

Bring your hands to your heart center,

And know that you can return to this meditation anytime you need to find comfort and support during your grieving process.

You are not alone,

And you are worthy of love and healing.

Namaste.
