Hello and good to have you here.

My name is Melina and this gentle meditation is here for you when your energy is low,

Your mind feels foggy and rest feels more like a distant dream.

Burnout doesn't mean you are broken,

It means you've been too strong for too long.

This practice here offers a soft space to reconnect with your breath,

Your body and your natural rhythm.

Through poetic imagery and kind reminders you'll be invited to release pressure,

Let go of old expectations and slowly begin to trust your healing again.

Let me tell you there's nothing about you which needs to be fixed and you have nothing to achieve right now,

Just a quiet return to yourself.

So let's begin by simply noticing what's there and allowing it to be that way.

If you feel tiredness it's okay,

Let the tiredness just be there.

Breathe into it if you want to.

And if there is slowness it's okay as well,

Just let it be there.

And if you want to,

Breathe into it as well.

Very well.

Remember that emotions and feelings are nothing but signals of our body,

Trying to tell us something,

Coming and going.

And right now your body might be trying to protect you,

Not to punish you in any way but simply because it needs recovery.

Because healing,

It takes time and that's okay.

Imagine your body as a forest,

Dry and very,

After a very long and hot summer.

That forest can't turn green overnight.

At first needs rain,

Sunshine,

Light and some peace and time.

And then it will be able to bloom again in its deepest and richest green,

Just like you will.

And even if some days it feels like you're stuck in this exhaustion forever,

Like you'll never feel clear,

Strong or alive again.

I want you to know that's not true.

Your body remembers,

Your strength is not gone.

It's just resting.

And everything you truly need will come back to you when the time is right.

And everything that no longer serves you,

It can gently stay away.

Allow yourself to be slow and to begin trusting your healing.

Let go of the old standards you measured yourself by for so long.

The pace you have now is exactly the right pace for you.

And every single small moment of stillness you truly allow yourself to feel deep within is a step back home,

Back to yourself.

You are allowed to be gentle with yourself,

Just as gentle as you would be with someone dear to you,

Someone you love.

Come back to your breath and take one more deep inhale and a slow,

Soft exhale.

Let the following words sink in deeply and repeat them to yourself whenever you might need them.

I don't have to function right away.

I am exactly where I'm meant to be.

My strength will return in its own time.

I trust my body.

I And really feel into the meaning of these words.

And once you're ready,

You might gently return to your day.

Please take good care of yourself.

Until next time,

Your Melina.
