I'm your host Maamun,
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can come back to our awareness,
Come back to faith in the unfolding of life,
Locating the breath without changing it,
Just noticing your breathing,
Trusting that life is unfolding exactly as it should for our greatest benefit even when we can't see how or why,
Known as you breathe in,
Dropping the shoulders,
Relaxing the belly,
Relaxing the face,
Relaxing your eyes as you look inside,
Becoming aware of your awareness itself,
Being present with your presence.
If your mind has been wanting to think,
I want you to allow your mind total freedom to think as you continue looking in,
Witnessing and welcoming the thoughts,
Sensations,
Emotion,
As it is,
Becoming aware as you hold the breath and exhale,
Let go,
Feeling yourself grounded,
Rooted in this moment as you breathe in,
Taking a deep breath in,
Way to stay with it my friend,
So happy that you will join me today,
Taking a deep breath through the nose and exhaling out the nose,
Inhaling three times through the nose,
Exhaling three times out the nose,
Three in,
Three inhales through the nose,
Three exhales out,
Relaxing the belly,
Relaxing the face,
Allowing your breath to simply be,
I want you to visualize a warm beam of light shooting up the spine all the way to the top of the crown,
Bringing with it awareness,
Luminosity,
Harmony,
Ease,
And exhaling back down the spine,
Feeling your feet underneath you,
Feeling your belly absolutely relaxed,
Feeling your jaw relaxed,
Your eyes relaxed,
As you take one last deep breath for now,
The color for today is dark purple,
The number is 1 billion,
And that is a praying mantis,
I thank you for joining me across time and space,
Sending you a big hug,
My dear friend,
Wishing you an abundance of love,
Resourcefulness,
Creativity,
Consciousness,
Being conscious enough not to take things personally,
You know everyone's just navigating life the best that they can,
Even when it doesn't seem that way,
So-and-so should be better,
So-and-so should be different,
Or perhaps you look at yourself in this way,
Know that everyone is trying their best,
Even when it doesn't seem that way,
Really reflect on this,
That most people,
Even when they do something mean,
It's not that they want to be mean,
It's coming from something inside of them that is painful,
That is sometimes even like misery,
And once we can perceive that,
Once we can see that with clarity,
Once we can understand that,
A compassion naturally starts to arise,
And that compassion is not just for that person's sake,
It's for your own sake,
To see people from a more compassionate place,
To not take things so personally,
And then now you're suffering,
Now you're being hard on yourself,
See with more clarity,
That's what this meditation is about,
To see with more presence,
To see with more awareness,
So you don't have to take things personally,
That you can actually be compassionate with yourself,
With other people,
And trust in the unfolding of life,
And with that,
