Welcome.
Take a moment to land here,
Just as you are.
Let the body settle.
Let the breath come as it wants to.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to force.
Today,
We're exploring a tender space.
A space many of us know well.
The moments we shrink,
Dim,
Or pull back from fully showing up as ourselves.
So before we move deeper into stillness,
I invite you to hold a few gentle questions,
Not to solve them,
But to simply notice what arises in the body and heart as you hear them.
What do I fear might happen if I fully took up space?
Is there a relationship or an environment where I notice myself dimming down?
Why that one?
And if my truest self walked in this room right now,
How would they stand?
How would they speak?
How would they show up?
Let these questions soften into the background as we breathe.
There is no rush,
No pressure to be anything other than present.
Let's begin.
Let's reset.
Relax your body and mind.
Take a comfortable seat or lie down.
Let your eyes gently close.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you.
Soften the space between your brows.
Unclench your jaw and drop your shoulders.
Let your breath start to slow naturally.
There is nothing you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be.
You're here now,
Safe,
Held.
Exhale deeply and intentionally.
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
Now exhale slowly through the mouth.
Let the out-breath carry tension,
Doubt,
And the old narratives of smallness.
Inhale,
Open space.
Exhale,
Release the box you've been put in or put yourself in.
With each breath out,
Say silently,
I let go.
Stillness through meditation.
Now let's settle into stillness.
Feel the rhythm of your breath without needing to control it.
If thoughts come,
That's okay.
Let them pass like clouds.
This moment is not about doing,
It's about being.
Expanding.
Let yourself feel what's underneath the noise.
Not the version of you shaped by fear or comparison,
But the truth that's always been there.
You are more than enough.
You are already whole.
Listen to these words by Ma Jaya in her book,
Deep and Simple Wisdom.
How easy it is to forget your personality lives on the edge of the self,
Capital S,
In the dimness away from its light.
That is why it is so important to get in touch with the self and feel your whole being expand.
You feel you are limited,
You become limited.
There is no need to feel this way.
As my Baba Neem Karoli taught me,
You are part of the universal light and the light is all of you.
You have only to remember this and feel this light all the time.
When you forget that you are the beloved of God,
You become controlled by attachments,
Crippled by loneliness,
And exhausted by separation from the light.
But when you feel the breath can take you straight to the heart of God,
Then you cannot fail at anything you do.
There is no victory more satisfying than the victory over the limits of the personality.
The heart can expand and expand to hold the universe.
Inside of you is everything that is outside of you.
What are your limitations?
They are nothing but the shadows of your personality.
When you lived on the edge of the self,
You dare not approach its brilliant light.
Now you understand that the world you want to experience is the world that lives within you.
Empower with affirmations.
Bring these words into your awareness.
Repeat them silently or aloud,
Steady and sure.
I am not small.
I am expansive,
Capable,
And deeply worthy.
My voice matters.
My presence matters.
I release the illusion of limitation.
I claim my space with courage and clarity.
Let each affirmation land like an anchor rooting you into the truth.
Finally,
Transform your inner space.
Now visualize the space within you,
Where once there was contraction,
Feel a gentle expansion.
Light moves through you,
Not flashy or dramatic,
But steady,
Grounded.
Clear.
This is your truth.
This is your power.
No longer shrinking.
No longer second guessing.
Feel the transformation,
Not as a leap,
But as a quiet return to who you've always been.
Take one last deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes,
Gently bringing your awareness back to the room.
Carry this spaciousness with you and the knowing that you never need to shrink to fit into spaces you were born to reshape.
Take a few moments to document your experience.
Journal what you notice.
Journal what you feel.
Use the beginning reflective questions as a guide.
You are your own compass.
Lead from your center with confidence.
Move with intention.
