Welcome to this anytime calming yoga nidra.

Getting comfortable lying down or sitting supported.

Choose any position that's comfortable right now.

Getting ready for this practice of calming.

Do anything you need to do to get as comfortable as possible.

Check for any lumps or bumps of clothing,

Jewellery,

Anything that might distract you.

If you find any,

Adjust them now.

Scan through your whole body and make sure that you are as comfortable as can be.

Feet heavy,

Legs and hips heavy,

Arms,

Shoulders heavy,

Jaw soft.

Settling in and making any further adjustments.

If it will help you be your most comfortable.

Feel yourself settling in.

Your eyes are closed and your body is still.

Serene like a still lake.

Bring all of your awareness into your practice.

Leaving everything aside for this moment to be calm and connect.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale let go of any thoughts you'd like to release in this moment.

Let go of any thoughts.

Let go of any need to do.

Just being.

This is your time for yourself.

No agenda.

No to do list.

Only peace.

Make any final adjustments if you haven't already.

Begin to experience the stillness even more.

Know that you can move at any time but if it feels good,

Allow yourself to enjoy this stillness.

Resting just as you are.
