Allow your eyes to close or keep them open with a soft gaze downward.

Take a breath in and a long breath out.

Breath in and out,

Inviting your body to relax now.

With each breath in,

Imagine inhaling all the positive energy and calmness your body needs and exhale,

Letting go of any tightness,

Tension or anxiety.

Allow the breath to be natural now,

Noticing the inhale,

The pause and the exhale and the pause as these slight moments of pause between each breath.

Feeling the air entering your nose and imagine that air going down to your lungs.

Feeling the lungs expand as they fill with air and relax again through each exhale.

Thoughts will arise again.

That's so common.

Just allow them to be.

Just allow them to be.

Returning the awareness then to the breath,

The breath in,

Pause,

The breath out and the pause.

Each time a thought arises,

Allow it to be and bring the awareness back to my voice,

Knowing it's natural to have thoughts occur when you're meditating and for the mind to be busy.

Imagine yourself now as a strong,

Sturdy tree with roots that extend deep into the earth.

You feel the stability and support of these roots,

Grounding you in resilience and strength.

Visualize the challenges of your workday as a storm passing overhead.

But you remain steadfast,

Your roots anchoring you,

Holding you firmly.

Breathing in and out.

Breathing in and out.

Taking some nice deep breaths.

Each breath in,

Belly expanding.

Each breath out,

Letting go.

And with each breath in,

Breathing in strength and stability.

And exhale any worries,

Any fears.

Breathing in strength,

Out worries.

And with each breath,

Feel your confidence growing,

Knowing you can withstand any storm.

And as you breathe deeply,

Silently affirm,

I am resilient,

I am strong.

I am resilient,

I am strong.

I am capable of handling whatever comes my way.

I am resilient,

I am strong.

I am capable of handling whatever comes my way.

Feeling empowered,

Strong and stable.

Draw your hands together,

Rub to greet once,

Place them over the eyes.

And begin to gently open your eyes,

Release the hands,

Ready to face your day with renewed resilience and confidence.
