This practice can be done anytime; however, it is focused on the divine wisdom and support of the Full Moon energy. Support for self-acceptance, unwinding and letting go of what is no longer serving you, illuminating, and connecting with your truth. Create a comfy nest, settle in, and surrender to deep rest. Eye covers are great for sensory deprivation. Yoga Nidra / Yogic Sleep allows one to develop a relationship with the divine wisdom within. Allowing the body to fall asleep to heal/rest the body and nervous system, and simultaneously allowing your awareness to remain intact so you can connect and receive divine wisdom from your Source. Make space to journal afterward - jot down anything about your experience What did you feel? What did you see? Did you have any realizations about yourself, your life, the universe? Settling in,

Closing your eyes if that feels comfortable for you,

And I do suggest allowing your legs to be straight and slightly separated.

This helps to let your energy flow more freely.

And let's start off with three inhales and exhales,

And we'll do it with a double inhale.

Okay,

Starting with a double inhale through the nose and allowing a long exhale out the mouth.

Another double inhale through the nose and exhaling out the mouth.

If you feel like letting go with a sigh,

The sound is always relieving.

And one more when you feel ready.

Double inhale and exhaling,

Anchoring into this space,

This moment.

I'm going to allow a brief body scan,

Simply tracing all the points of your back body that touch the surface beneath you.

We'll be releasing tension in each area of the body.

Place your awareness there,

Feeling the contact of the surface and your buttocks.

We tend to hold a lot of tension here,

So if you notice any tension in the muscles,

Releasing,

Letting go,

Noticing the connection between the surface and your right heel,

Your left heel on the surface,

The back of your right leg,

The back of your left leg,

Releasing any tension in the legs,

Feeling the contact between the surface of your right arm,

Right hand,

Notice the contact between your left arm and the surface,

Your left hand,

Releasing any tension,

Relaxing,

Bringing awareness to the middle of the back,

Right shoulder blade,

Left shoulder blade,

Back of the head,

Noticing the whole body touching the surface beneath you,

Noticing if any further adjustments can be made to help your body feel 5% more comfortable,

Settling into your restful shape,

Settling into stillness,

Noticing each breath as it moves into your nostrils,

Rising your belly,

Rising your chest,

Noticing each exhale as the chest and the belly fall,

Resting,

Relaxing.

As you inhale,

Feeling the earth's energy as if it's rising up to meet the points of your body,

Touching the surface beneath you.

As you exhale,

Feeling gravity as if it's pulling you in,

Connecting your energy more closely with the earth,

Breathing in,

Earth rising,

Exhaling,

Settling deeper in towards the earth.

With each breath,

Feeling your body getting heavier and heavier in a comforting kind of way.

The earth has a divine feminine energy,

Like a cosmic mother that offers unconditional love,

Accepting you and loving you for all that you are and all that you are not.

Mother Earth allows you to be just as you are.

Inhaling,

Feeling Mother Earth supporting you,

Exhaling,

Feeling yourself sinking deeper into her nurturing embrace.

We will begin to count down our breaths,

Starting with the number 11,

Down to zero.

Starting now with an inhale,

11.

Exhale,

11.

Inhale,

10.

Exhale,

10.

Continuing to count down towards zero on your own.

The closer you get to zero,

The more you feel your body softening and opening to relaxation.

Letting go of counting,

Feeling yourself closer and closer to the earth.

Feel your body fully immersed in this sacred space of acceptance,

This loving space where you can feel safe to let your guard down,

A space of non-judgment,

A space for you to feel whatever you're feeling,

A space for you to be your truest,

Authentic self.

Guide your awareness to your heart space,

Breathing permission into your heart,

Permission for your body to rest and receive all the healing,

Rejuvenation,

Nourishment it may need.

Letting us set an intention for this practice.

I offer my body deep rest here and create space to connect with my inner truth.

Now bringing your focus to the inner space between your brows,

Breathing space into the point between your brows,

Letting go of the heaviness of your body.

Imagine a feeling of lightness.

Each inhale and exhale,

Allowing you to float upward like a feather,

Doing your best to imagine or sense the light of the full moon upon your skin.

Feeling yourself breathing in this suspended space,

Being the full moon in your mind's eye.

The moon has a divine cosmic grandmother energy,

One of absolute wisdom,

One of loving guidance.

She offers clarity of heart and mind.

Her waves of light are like a gentle flowing stream of purifying waters.

Her moonlight illuminates all that is ready to be let go of,

Helping to unwind the stories that no longer serve you.

The divine grandmother holds your hand as if she walks you home to yourself,

Home to the pure heart.

Following my voice,

Using your imagination to see or simply sensing it into being.

Begin to call this loving moonlight into each suggested point in the body,

Calling this sacred moonlight into the space between your brows.

Imagining this gentle moonlight in your right eye,

Left eye,

Both eyes,

Bridge of the nose,

Right ear,

Left ear,

Moonlight illuminating both ears,

Top lip,

Bottom lip,

Moonlight resting the tongue,

The jaw,

Base of your throat,

Right shoulder,

Right elbow,

Wrist,

The tips of all five fingers,

Right palm,

Moonlight in the whole right hand,

The whole right arm,

Right chest,

Center of your high chest,

Left shoulder,

Left elbow,

Wrist,

Tips of all the left fingers,

Left palm,

Moonlight in the whole left hand,

The whole left arm,

Left chest,

Mid chest,

Divine wisdom,

Moonlight in your entire heart center,

Navel center,

Pelvic center,

Right hip,

Right knee,

Ankle,

Tips of all five toes on the right foot,

Moonlight in the whole right foot,

The whole right leg,

Right hip,

Base of the spine,

Left hip,

Left knee,

Ankle,

Tips of all five toes on the left foot,

Sole of the left foot,

Moonlight in the whole left foot,

Whole left leg,

Left hip,

Moonlight in the lower belly,

The whole space between your hips,

Moonlight in the entire belly,

Loving moonlight in the heart center,

Throat center,

Illuminating moonlight in the base of the skull,

Inner space between the brows,

The whole body resting in moonlight,

The whole body,

Feel or sense the gentle waves of light moving through you,

Carrying you,

Guiding you,

Allowing yourself to rest in awareness here,

Allow yourself to receive here.

You will hear my voice again shortly as you bring your awareness to whatever you are sensing and receiving here.

Witness and observe,

Asking yourself if there's anything else you're ready to receive in this moment,

Reaffirming today's intention into your heart space.

Gently beginning to call yourself,

Your awareness back to the space you are in,

Bringing your awareness to the breath once again,

Allowing the breath to call you home to your body,

Beginning to sense the inhale and the exhale,

Sensing how the breath feels as it moves through your nostrils,

How the breath feels as it moves through your body,

Noticing the rise of the belly and chest,

Feeling the body resting upon the earth and see if you can notice the earth's energetic embrace supporting you,

Grounding you to this earth plane,

Loving you unconditionally,

Offering a moment of gratitude to the divine mother earth and the divine cosmic moon,

Grandmother moon,

Thanking them for their supportive energies,

This full moon night,

Gratitude to yourself for creating space for you,

Cleaning a deep cleansing inhale and a deep cleansing exhale,

Beginning to locate your hands and your feet,

Very gently wiggling your fingers,

Your toes,

Calling yourself home to your body,

Very slowly rotating the wrists,

The ankles,

Letting your body know it's okay to wake up from deep rest,

There is no rush,

As you feel ready,

Allowing a little more movement into the body,

Anything that may feel good to you,

Stretching,

Opening,

It'd be nice to give the arms and legs a good long stretch,

And maybe gently hugging your knees into your chest,

If that feels good for you,

Allowing a gentle rock from side to side,

And help to open,

Massage the lower back,

And allowing a few moments here for you to either gently rise to your journal,

Or simply remain in a contemplative space,

Giving space to document anything you may have heard,

Felt,

Saw,

Realized,

Or experienced,

Giving space to process,

And at least write down or recognize how you feel,
