Transcript

Find a comfortable position and gently close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in and let your exhale soften your entire body.

You are safe here,

Safe to feel,

Safe to remember,

Safe to finally be believed,

Even by yourself.

Begin by noticing your breath without changing it,

Just witnessing.

Now place your hand over your heart.

Feel the warmth beneath your palm.

Your heart has never lied to you.

Your body has never betrayed you.

Even when your mind doubted,

Even when someone told you your reality was wrong,

Your body was protecting you.

Your shaking,

Your nausea,

Your panic,

Your freezing,

Your exhaustion.

These were not flaws.

They were alarms.

They were signals from a body that loved you too much to stay silent.

Gently whisper to yourself,

My body told the truth.

Again,

My body told the truth.

Let yourself believe it.

Your body sensed danger long before your mind could understand.

Your nervous system tried to warn you.

Your intuition whispered,

Even when you felt disconnected.

You were not crazy.

You were not overreacting.

You were not dramatic.

You were surviving something that was hurting you.

Place both hands over your heart now,

As if holding yourself gently.

Silently repeat,

I see you.

I believe you.

You were right.

And you are safe now.

Take one more slow breath in,

And exhale the last trace of self-blame,

When you're ready.

Open your eyes gently.

You were never crazy.

You were surviving.

And now,

You are healing.

Love this ❤️ My body has been sending me signals and I have not interpreted them as protection. This has opened my eyes to start paying attention to them.
