Find a comfortable position to start this meditation on releasing perfection with the support of energy healing.

Allow your body to ease into a restful position and gently move your focus inward into your neck,

Your shoulders and your back.

As you take a deep breath in,

Visualize that you're exhaling all of the tension from these areas.

Allow the weight of your day to be lifted and released and gently inform your body that it is ok and safe for you to just be in this moment.

Any tasks and worries that come into your mind are allowed to come but we gently move them back out of the mind knowing that we can always return to them later.

As you allow the body to soften,

Connect with the sensations that are occurring inside your chest and your abdomen.

Whatever sensation you sense is correct.

Trust that your body is showing you in this moment what it can unwind for you right now.

Softly,

Compassionately and gently connect with these sensations and foster a sense of non-judgment.

Let the stories fall away and simply be with the sensation.

Your compassion and softness allow sensations to unwind and release without your needing release them so the softer you are,

The more effective you can be.

Whatever sensation you've already tapped into is your starting point so soften your concentration on the sensation and sit back allowing your awareness to move into a daydreamy,

Non-focused,

Soft,

Gentle mode.

As you view the sensation in your body through this lens,

Just be curious how the sensation may transform as you give it space to unwind and unfold in its natural course of evolution.

The sensations we hold are from things that we haven't processed and haven't released so lightly,

Back away,

Giving it space to release itself on its own.

As energy healing is done for you and you are allowing change for yourself,

Gently bring to mind the idea of needing to be perfect and just experience the sensation that comes when you think of that.

Whatever you sense is right.

Trust your instincts and trust your body to show you what you need.

In the same way that we connected very softly to the sensations earlier,

Connect now with the feeling of needing to be perfect and just say to it,

I see you.

I accept you.

I am grateful that you are a part of me and I invite you to return back to an integrated sensation where you can function more optimally in guiding my everyday choices.

Now gently move your awareness back into the daydreamy,

Compassionate,

Gentle state and don't do anything except be with the sensation of needing to be perfect.

You have given it permission to transform in whatever way it needs to transform and now you just wait for it to go through all of its stages.

You may feel it moving in different ways through your body.

You may feel a heaviness or a brightness.

You may feel tears,

Anger,

Frustration,

Love,

Joy.

All of these are normal and it's most essential that you just accept whatever comes through from behind the need to be perfect and let all of these sensations unwind themselves in the process of reintegration.

Stay daydreamy,

Soft,

Unfocused with a very gentle connection to the sensations as they transform throughout your system.

Drop the stories,

Drop the judgment and allow yourself to move step by step toward wholeness,

Toward integration and toward a more gentle state of nervous system function.

Your need to be perfect isn't who you are.

It's a state that becomes an adaptive mechanism of how you view yourself and your successes in life but if you allow the drive of perfectionism to reintegrate into a healthier balance,

Your nervous system will have a better chance of resting in the quiet times and you will find that you will regain energy that you've been spending on upholding this drive for perfection.

Continue to allow the energy healing to move through for you as you soften and soften and soften yourself further,

Detaching more and more from your stories,

Letting go more and more of self-judgment and just allow yourself to experience a softness and joy of existing as who you truly are in your core,

At your soul level because when you stop fighting and start accepting your truth and live from this truth,

You'll find that every moment is already perfect.

Notice if you can feel a sense of relief,

Softening,

Calm,

Brightness or gentleness within yourself,

For yourself and allow these kind sensations to move and echo outward through all of your limbs,

Through all of your emotional,

Mental,

Physical and energetic bodies and allow all of these layers of you to integrate into one complete authentic self.

And just notice how this state feels.

Stay with this sensation as long as you wish and ideally you would bring the sense of being your true self with you throughout every moment of every day.

Allow the sensation to extend beyond your meditation practice,

Beyond the moments that you set aside for a little bit of reprieve from life.

With practice and continued releasing you can learn to exist more and more often at this frequency.
