Anxiety often masks deeper emotions: sadness, fear, or overwhelm. Today’s practice invites you to meet these feelings with kindness instead of resistance. You’ll connect to your body, notice inner sensations, and gently breathe through them — without judgment. There is no need to fix or solve anything. Just be present. Through this compassion-based approach, healing begins naturally. Place a hand on your heart, and remind yourself: that you are safe. You are supported. You are already doing something deeply brave — just by being here. This course is designed for complete beginners as well as anyone seeking a gentle and supportive way to ease anxiety. No prior meditation experience is needed. Welcome back.

I'm Ulysses F and this is day two of your journey.

Today we will gently explore your emotions with an open heart.

Begin by finding a comfortable position and closing your eyes if you wish.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Feel your body begin to settle just by breathing.

Bring your awareness to sensations in your body right now.

Is there tension,

Heaviness,

Warmth or fluttering?

You might feel anxiety,

Sadness or something you can't quite name.

That's okay.

If you notice a sensation,

Gently ask yourself what emotion might this be linked to?

Is it fear,

Sadness,

Anger or perhaps loneliness?

You don't need to fix it.

Just notice.

Imagine these sensations as messengers.

They bring important messages from your inner world.

You don't need to push them away.

You can welcome them gently like a kind host.

Feel your feet touching the ground.

Notice the support beneath you.

Gravity holds you with care.

You are grounded and safe.

Place a hand to your heart and feel its steady rhythm.

Whisper gently to yourself,

I am safe.

I am here for myself.

If difficult feelings arise,

Breathe into them with acceptance.

As you inhale,

Silently say,

I welcome this feeling.

As you exhale,

Say to yourself,

I release judgment and fear.

Repeat this a few times with patience.

Inside you,

There is also a quiet witness,

The part of you that sees all feelings but remains still and steady.

Let this part gently observe everything that arises,

Like clouds passing across the sky.

Now imagine wrapping yourself in a warm,

Soft light,

Perhaps golden,

A pale rose.

It has the gentle warmth of morning sun on your skin.

Maybe it smells like something comforting,

Vanilla or clean linen.

Let this light sink into your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your whole body.

This light calms and protects you,

Just as you are.

Remember,

Emotions are visitors.

They come and go.

You have the strength to feel them and to let them pass with kindness.

Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Let this moment settle in your body like soft rain on the earth.

Slowly bring your attention back to the room around you.

Open your eyes gently.

Notice how you feel now compared to when you started.

Is there more space,

More gentleness?

This shift,

No matter how small,

Is healing in action.

You are doing beautifully.

Meeting your emotions with kindness is a powerful step toward inner peace.

To truly feel the benefits of this practice,

Try to return to it daily.

Even just a few minutes a day can create deep and lasting change.

Simple steps,

When done consistently,

Lead to profound shifts over time.

To keep this habit close,

You might want to save this session to your bookmarks,

So it's easier to return whenever you need it.

With regular practice,

Kindness toward yourself becomes second nature.

Acquire strength you carry into everything you do.

Thank you for being here with me today.

I'll meet you again in day three,

Where we'll continue this gentle journey together.

Until then,

Be kind to yourself.
