A meditation for times of transition, whether big or small. May this meditation serve as an anchor to this present moment, finding stillness and inner reflection amidst the current that is moving through you now. May you witness the truth that this transition is merging you with the highest version yourself, on purpose and in purpose.

I wanted to record this meditation for times of transition.

I feel that many of us are going through transitions in one way or another,

Whether the change of a job,

The relationship ending or beginning,

Moving to a different location,

Gaining new friends,

Letting go of other ones,

Whatever it may be,

We are in a time of deep transition.

And sometimes we just need a couple of minutes to ourselves to really process what is going on internally and to feel safe in times of transition.

My intention is for this meditation to bring you back into your inner world,

To remind you of the safety that exists within you always.

Oftentimes in the wave of change,

We find our new direction.

Like a boat in the middle of the ocean,

We too are faced with the same uncertainty that the weather patterns affecting the ocean current can instantly change the trajectory of a boat.

My belief is that humans are supposed to incur change frequently,

Just as the seasons change four times a year.

Nothing is ever supposed to remain the same for too long.

Leaves must die for new ones to be grown.

The trouble is for many of us,

We weren't taught how to handle the sudden changes of the tides in our own lives and particularly how to truly embrace them as something that is serving our highest good.

I am grateful to guide you into the depths of your soul in this poetic meditation I have created just for you in this time of transition.

May we navigate these new waters together as a sacred community and cleanse what has been keeping us in resistance for a moment too long.

Release,

Unlock,

Embrace.

The wind is rustling the leaves on these ancient trees,

Spreading seeds of flowers to create an abundance of new life.

The trees and bugs and birds know not to resist the direction of the wind.

The raven rides the gust of wind in order to use less energy in flight.

The wise tall standing trees flow with the wind and use its powerful gust to loosen any deadened leaves and branches,

Creating space for new healthy ones.

They are all unafraid to let go.

Mother Nature,

She is constantly changing.

Where there is the decaying of life,

Where the end is eminent in one place,

There is a birthing of new life in another.

We too must allow a part of ourselves to wither away to feed the soil that can grow something completely new and strong.

Softening in now to the changes occurring within.

Feeling into your body and how it feels when you choose to sit with yourself.

Simply observing without a need to create judgment.

And if one inevitably arises,

No need to judge that either.

Observe as if you are looking outside through a window onto your life playing out in front of you.

Observe as though your life playing out in front of you is like a child at a playground,

Moving from one thing to the next.

Laughing,

Falling,

Experiencing.

What does it feel like to just be?

To simply witness without having to make any decisions?

Is there tension in your shoulders that can relax ever so tenderly?

Is there a tightness in your stomach that you can take a deep breath into to loosen it ever so slightly?

Whatever gust of wind is moving through you right now,

Whether strong and turbulent or soft and slow,

Giving gratitude to the direction it's trying to carry you towards.

Trusting that wherever your soul is trying to redirect you is for your highest good.

Taking a few deep belly breaths now.

Inhaling until you feel like your lungs have taken in as much oxygen as they can,

And exhaling with a big audible sigh and letting it all go.

Repeating this deep belly breathing again a few more times with the intention to release any stagnant energy within you.

This energy may be keeping you in tension,

In resistance,

In fear,

Releasing the buildup that prevents the river within you to flow freely.

Releasing the frustration around these blockages and knowing to your core that bit by bit,

Breath by breath,

You are progressively removing the debris in the blocked river.

One stick,

One rock at a time until the river is flowing freely and effortlessly,

Clearing and cleansing.

Breathing into this new expansive space within you,

Open to what is possible in this new space.

Visualizing yourself again,

Looking through a window onto the future you living a life so rich in joy,

Experiences and relationships that you have been dreaming about.

What does that look like to you?

Where are you living?

Who are you surrounded by?

What are you doing?

Witnessing the future you from inside the window.

What does it feel like in your body when you are doing these things you have dreamed of?

Perhaps you are surfing a big swell on the coast or climbing a mountain.

Perhaps sitting in stillness in the middle of the forest or surrounded or surrounded by good company,

Belly laughing around a dinner table with souls you feel deeply connected to,

Who you can be your whole self around.

Trusting now that the subconscious cannot scientifically differentiate the difference between feeling like you are living the life you envision and physically living it.

Trusting that whatever you long for already exists.

It's waiting for you to follow the breadcrumbs to receive it.

To find and follow this trail,

All that is required is for you to do more of what feels really good to you and slow down to listen in.

The only difference between those that stay dreaming and those that actually create the life they desire is how frequently they are connected to this feeling within them that is trying to veer off the course most traveled and forge a new path.

Taking a few more deep belly breaths here,

Feeling into this expansion that is happening within you currently.

There is now a clearing,

An opportunity for new energy to permeate every cell of your being.

Surrendering to the redirection when it arises,

Choosing courage when we come into contact with the fear of this unknown path for a specific purpose that fully supports our highest good.

Releasing this visual now with the knowing that at any moment you can take a few deep breaths and feel back into what it feels like in your body to be excited about this life you envision.

Knowing that you can find contentment with the life you are currently living as it's building towards what you envision.

What is something you can be grateful for that is serving you in this now moment?

Breathing in,

I am aware of my in-breath and breathing out,

I am aware of my out-breath.

Moving your fingers and your toes,

Feeling the surface beneath you,

Inhaling the aroma of the room you are surrounded by,

And slowly making your way into the space.

As you open your eyes,

Remember that you are always just one choice away from feeling into all the goodness that you envision right now in this moment.

By asking how the experience you are currently living can serve this future version of you that you are becoming right now.

And so it is.
