Welcome to this short meditation where I hope to connect your mind with your breath,
Releasing your anxiety and your stress and grounding you down with the power of breath.
Either in a seated position or on your back,
Start closing your eyes,
Observing the natural ebb and flow of your breath,
Not trying to change it,
Releasing the effort and just watch it flow.
With each breath you take,
Your shoulders start to sink away from the ears,
The crown of your head pulls up nice and long,
Your jaw starts to relax,
Bringing the tip of your tongue right behind the front set of your teeth,
Your hips start to root down,
Your breath becomes a little bit more noticeable,
Maybe even a little bit more expansive,
And you just observe.
We take ten breaths together to intentionally expand the breath,
Let it travel through the body.
When you're ready,
Take a deep breath in,
Sigh out,
Deep breath in,
Let it go,
Inhale,
Fill up,
Empty out,
Inhale,
Let go,
Inhale,
Let it go,
Inhale,
Release,
Inhale,
Exhale,
Two more,
Inhale,
Relax,
Inhale,
Sink down.
Continue these breaths at your own pace,
Returning to a more natural consistency,
Natural ebb and flow,
Natural expansion and contraction.
Bring your fingers,
Your pointer and your middle finger to your third eye space between your two eyebrows,
Activating relaxation through the nervous system.
Take three more breaths.
We thank ourselves for taking the time to nourish our minds,
Body,
Soul with the power of breath,
For grounding down,
Letting everything else go,
Finding our inner peace,
Our stability,
Our stillness.
Thank you so much for coming and joining me.
Slowly open your eyes,
Setting a soft gaze around the room,
Returning your awareness back,
Feeling your breath cleanse,
Your stale energy,
Replacing it with vibrant energy.
Use this breath to ground yourself down for the rest of the day.
Take one final breath together,
Inhale,
Release.
Thank you for joining me on this short breath meditation.
