We can choose to be run by the emotions of stress which keep us cycling in the energies of lack and separation or we can choose to practice presence which helps to actively create, within us, a state of "All is well", a state of being which serves our higher self in these times. This is a great morning practice and can be done anytime that you feel fear-based emotions overtaking you.

You can choose to be run by the emotions of stress and survival in these times,

Which lures you into the illusion of lack and separation,

Or you can choose to actively connect to the present moment,

Actively creating the state of all is well,

Thus keeping your power,

Freedom,

And sense of wellbeing.

So let's practice presence.

Settle yourself into this moment by finding the flow of your breath as best as you are able to connect with the inflow and the outflow of each breath.

Breath after breath,

Moment after moment.

With each slow,

Mindful breath,

Practice settling into this moment,

Being with this moment exactly as it is.

Nothing to control,

Nothing to do.

Simply practice breathing and becoming aware of this moment.

With each slow breath,

Feel your body begin to calm and rest,

Shoulders relaxing a little,

Facial muscles easing a little.

Your whole body getting just a little more anchored to this place,

This moment.

And each time the body resists,

If it does so,

Simply notice,

Take a slow breath in that moment and bring your awareness back.

To this moment where all is well,

Your body in these times can be like a wild stallion,

Always with a desire to move,

To do,

To not be here.

So practice noticing this and calming the body to be here now with each slow breath.

This is so good for your wellbeing in these times.

Just breathe and allow your body to become just a little more comfortable with this moment and with each slow breath,

Each breath calms and centers your body just a little more.

Now with each slow breath flowing in through your nose and flowing out through your nose or mouth,

Practice becoming more present to thoughts that come into your mind.

Just notice as if each thought is like a cloud in the sky,

Nothing to do.

Let these thoughts come and then practice letting them go with each breath.

That's all there is to do.

And practicing your attention on these thoughts takes you away from this moment.

So just notice them as they naturally float in and then let them flow back out with each long slow breath.

Now let's do the same thing with any sounds around you.

Breathe slowly as you notice them and simply bring the mind back each time it drifts away in the direction of a sound.

Your thoughts,

Sounds and sensations are all part of your experience.

As you breathe,

Allow them to just be as they are.

Nothing else to do.

This is presence.

This is being present.

And now as you continue to breathe and practice accessing this moment with each breath,

You may wish to observe an emotion that you are or have been experiencing in these times.

Be it sadness,

Overwhelm,

Perhaps a little anxious,

All normal,

All part of the human experience.

So as you breathe,

Dear one,

Practice observing them,

Noticing them,

If they're showing up in this moment.

Where do they settle within you?

Notice your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your stomach.

Simply notice where your emotions settle.

Nothing else to do.

Become the observer of your experience and as you do so,

You become less consumed and taken to the past or worries about the future.

Just breathe and observe everything exactly as it is.

Nothing else to do.

Control,

Change.

This is presence.

As you practice this with a calmer mind and with a connected heart,

You become more present.

You begin to experience presence.

You become aware.

So breathe,

Dear one,

And honor your experience in this moment.

Honor it all.

This is life.

This is your life.

Can you feel it?

Can you feel this moment and the gift of simply being alive?

So breathe and begin to feel that place within you that's so much more than your body.

Your thoughts,

Your emotions.

Breathe and practice feeling this place of presence and pure potential.

It's the same thing.

Breathe and feel how present you are in this moment.

How precious it is.

Breathe and continue feeling this.

Continue being present for a few more minutes so that you can take this feeling into your own hands.

Namaste,

Dear one.
