Let's do our meditation.

Relax back into your posture.

Settle down into the space that you are physically occupying.

Relaxing the flesh and muscles around the bones.

Bring your awareness into the body.

Settle down upon your body.

If there is any gripping tendency in your mind or in your body,

Just relax completely.

Take a long in-breath and a long gentle sigh out.

Feel your whole body as one.

Rest upon the sense of the shape and form and physical presence of your body.

Rest upon the sense of the space that you physically occupy.

Settle down upon that.

And feel your heart.

Tune into how your heart feels.

When we are really settled and calm and our heart is coherent,

It is comforting to rest in the heart.

It has a feeling of coming home to rest.

Sometimes the heart feels agitated or disturbed.

If it is disturbed,

Just rest upon that disturbed feeling without being disturbed by it and let the heart settle naturally like water.

Relax.

Let everything incline to a settled state of stillness within you.

Do nothing to it.

Don't disturb yourself.

Just rest and pay attention in a settled,

Calm way.

Let your heart settle like water.

Let your body settle like a mountain.

Once you are settled,

Inwardly composed and calm,

Bring your attention to your breath.

And for a few minutes,

Extend your breath.

Follow the upward floating current of energy with your in-breath.

Feel your body and energy expanding,

Becoming more airy and lighter.

Coming to a momentary point of stillness at the end of the in-breath and then an instant transition into the out-breath and a sinking and settling downwards and back into total stillness.

Let your breath extend at your own rate,

In your own way.

Don't overly extend your breath.

You are struggling to uphold it.

There was a natural rhythm of extended breath that flows effortlessly in and out.

It comes to a deep state of rest at the end of the out-breath.

It can allow your physical body to mirror the expansion and contraction,

The floating and sinking of your energy.

Absorb yourself completely with the process.

Follow it as it rises up through you,

As it sinks down and settles within you.

Every out-breath is a total letting go.

As you settle into the rhythm,

You can begin to explore the empty stillness at the end of the out-breath.

Try to reach a point where there is absolutely no sense of need to breathe in,

A total state of rest in stillness and emptiness.

Don't extend it to the point where you have to pull your in-breath,

But just allow the in-breath to appear naturally after a period of rest.

In your own time,

Continue your meditation.

While you are breathing,

Try to get a sense of any residual charge or tension or conflict or friction that you are still holding in your body.

Let go of your regular breathing,

Your controlled breathing.

Just let your mouth open slightly and allow yourself to breathe completely naturally through your mouth,

With no restraint upon your breath as all,

As if you were sound asleep as a baby,

So that your breath is a pure response to your body's needs,

So that with your out-breath you can continue to let go any subtle layers of tension or conflict you are holding within you.

Let your breath be completely free.

It may well not be that even,

It may well not be that smooth,

But just relax completely all control of your breath and observe how you breathe when you breathe completely naturally.

Be with any feelings that arise,

Any sense of anxiety,

Try to breathe into it and allow it to release.

Enter completely to your body's intelligence and let it bring you in its own way to a more settled,

More coherent,

More organized state.

I am open and willing to release and let go all the negative charge that I am holding within my body,

All the negative habit patterns and attitudes of my mind and all the negative reactions and energy associated with my memories of past experiences.

Relax totally and completely into your body,

Relax into your breath,

Let it be completely free.

Just witness the process as it comes and goes without disturbing it,

Without controlling it,

Without changing it.

Leave everything to be as it is.

Continue your meditation.

Relax completely來說.

.

Try to get beyond your habitual tendency to hold on or to control or to feel in control or need to be in control.

Try to surrender completely to your body's higher intelligence.

Even if it feels uncomfortable to do so,

Free up your breath.

Let your body respond to its need to let go of the tension and friction that you are holding.

I'm open and willing to release and let go.

All the negative habit patterns and tendencies of my mind.

All my perceived need to control and manipulate the process within me.

The environment around me.

Open and willing to release and let go all the negative charge in my body.

I'm open and willing to let go.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Come back to your whole body as one.

Come back to your whole body as one.

Come back to your whole body as one.

Come back to your whole body as one.

Come back to your whole body as one.

Come back to your whole body as one.

Feel your whole body as one.

Relax completely through your body.

Feel from your heart with gentleness.

Sukhino ha kemino hantu sabhe sata bhavantu sukhita.

May I be happy and peaceful.

And free from sickness and suffering.

May all beings be happy and peaceful.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be happy.

Breathe in and relax.

This really helped me to let go of so much and settle in. My body Was jerking and twitching with the release of tension. I felt resentment transforming into wishes of well-being. Such a gift thank you.

Very good and useful but I’m always stymied when told to feel my heart, swinging between trying to sense the centre of my chest and trying to assess my emotions. For me these are two separate unconnected things. Any guidance appreciated, but does not diminish my gratitude for these meds, thank you 🙏

Wonderful long silent space to sit with the suggestions. Loved this line: "May the heart settle life water, may the body settle like a mountain."
