We have a few moments today to help you find your breath.

So find a comfortable position and let your eyelids relax into a closing position.

Today I want to focus on thoughts and teaching ourselves to acknowledge them and let them pass.

We have over 6,

000 thoughts a day and not every thought that comes to mind needs our attention.

Let's start by linking your thoughts to your breath.

Inhale and exhale comfortably through your nose.

When a thought comes up,

I want you to listen to it.

It might be a reminder,

New information,

Or a thought about the space you are currently in.

If it's a reminder or a to-do list task,

I want you to think it and let it pass like a cloud.

Let us focus on your breath.

Deep breaths like this help you expel unwanted toxins that you're storing in your body.

It increases your energy throughout the day,

But most importantly it connects you with your subconscious,

Your soul.

Just allow your chest to rise and fall with ease.

If your mind starts drifting,

Acknowledge those thoughts and move past it.

Just turn yourself back to your breath.

You can say,

I am breathing in and I am breathing out with each rise and fall of the belly.

If you are willing today,

I want you to create some space at the top and bottom of each breath.

Feel the coolness of the air into your nose,

Move down your throat and fill up your lungs.

Let your thoughts drip away like wax does from a flame on a candle.

Taking a moment each day to consciously breathe changes your whole life.

It lowers stress and anxiety,

Improves digestion and brings you back to the present moment.

Right here,

Right now,

Where you feel the floor underneath you,

Connecting to the earth.

In these moments,

You are part of the greater awareness.

You are in community with every other human being that is grounded to the earth right now.

If you are ready,

I want you to feel the movement return to your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Roll out your wrists.

Give a big giant stretch,

Arms to the sky,

Like it's your first stretch of the morning.

We're going to do one more inhale and exhale through the mouth together.

Inhale through your nose and let it all go.

You can open your eyes whenever you are ready and continue to take whatever time you need for yourself.

Thank you so much for showing up today.
