Welcome.
My name is Carolyn Ann Budgel.
This meditation is an opportunity for you to relax and release gripping in the low belly specifically and open yourself up to all the wisdom that lives deep within.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat if you haven't already or lying down on your back.
Close your eyes.
Begin to attune to all the sounds around you.
Or just imagine the space that you're in so that you become really present and aware and awake to where you are right now.
And then narrowing the lens of your awareness.
Start to just turn your attention within.
Starting with honoring what it is you're bringing to this meditation today.
How do you feel right now?
How's your day been so far?
What's your energy like right now?
How's your heart?
Meditation asks us to be very honest.
Not only with how we want to be,
But how we are in any given moment.
And then land a little more fully into every breath flowing in and out of your lungs.
Flowing through your nose.
And be very clear on if your breath is long or if your breath is short.
Maybe it's been a while since you've been really aware of your breath.
But notice when you become aware of it,
How that awareness affects your whole being.
Take a little more of that awareness just right into your low abdomen.
Just a couple inches below your navel.
This area of the low belly is also known as the lower dantian in Eastern traditions.
Low belly and the low back area is a space of great power in the body of anchoring,
Of grounding.
The nervous systems are said to be housed in the base of the spine.
Reproductive organs live here.
Other important organs for immunity and health.
Perhaps place a hand on your low abdomen if that helps you to go deeper into this space.
And just allow your breath to gently press out into the hand and invite yourself to let go here.
Letting go is quite simple,
But it's by no means easy.
We often spend years and decades protecting ourselves,
Gripping against pain from others,
Hardening in the face of adversity or uncontrollable situations.
Self-hate causes a lot of physical tension.
Anxiety and fear are directly related to a nerve in the low belly that tightens.
Letting go is a continuous practice.
The practice is right here and right now available to you.
So with every inhale and every exhale,
Soften the low belly.
It's time to relax.
It's time to shed all that you've been carrying around with you.
Continue feeling and breathing into that space below your navel.
Have a sense of returning over and over to this ease,
This softness in the low belly.
Your body will require that reminder over and over because it'll take repetition.
It'll take time to unlearn some of those habits of gripping and locking in the body.
Feel your breath softening into your belly.
It's like a really sweet whisper to the body,
I'm here for you and it's okay to let go… Rather than getting lost in the shoulds or the should have around the past,
Or what has been living in your body for all these years,
Just keep coming back to the here and the now.
It's okay to let go.
You deserve to be more present.
It's okay to let go.
And without looking for anything in particular,
Start to listen to what remains when you let go.
What insights or what wisdom is trying to break forth.
Now the truth is,
If you feel like or feel too adaptable<|sw|><|translate|> and you wish that isn't the case,
They hear you.
Are there any words or thoughts or feelings arising from this really relaxed space of the low belly from your deepest place of intuition?
Just a simple reminder perhaps about your worth or your process being perfect or some ideas about growth and what's next for you on your path.
Just kind of sit back into yourself and listen or connect or feel whatever word is right for you.
Just a simple reminder about your worth or your process being perfect or some ideas about growth and what's next for you on your path.
Just a simple reminder about your worth or your process being perfect or some ideas about growth and what's next for you on your path.
Just a simple reminder about your worth or your process being perfect or some ideas about growth and what's next for you on your path.
Just a simple reminder about your worth or your process being perfect or some ideas about growth and what's next for you on your path.
So continue this practice of letting go in the belly and listening as much as you can in every minute of every day,
Connecting within and listening.
Namaste.
