Welcome to this meditation in which we are going to focus on what it means to be whole Starting coming into a position where we're going to be alert open to receive to be inspired To connect with our inner self So if you're sitting noticing how you are connected to the ground to the surface below through the soles of your feet through your seat bones noticing that reliable connection with the that support that reminder of our connection and dependence on the earth below Allowing yourself to be comfortable but not in a position where you are likely to be unattentive Allowing the spine to be fairly straight,
But not causing yourself any harm But not in a way that might cause you any discomfort or harm closing your eyes if that's comfortable And allowing any thoughts that come to your mind to just fade away Knowing that there is a time and a place for entertaining such thoughts If they are meant to be reminding yourself that now is your time a time For going inward a time to allow yourself to be nurtured nourished Healed so we might think of wholeness as referring to the idea of being Just our mind or body but our spirit as well an idea of being repaired built up wherever there is division or damage or imbalance in our lives So you might notice first of all whether there is any small discomfort you're feeling at the moment something that perhaps a simple movement can relieve You just let go of that discomfort and you might imagine Looking down on yourself if you could escape your body for a moment seeing yourself as a whole Wholesome being as someone who is physically mentally and spiritually balanced someone who is calm Controlled just in the way that we talk about holistic treatment for someone who has an ailment this idea of treating the whole person from this vantage position might Imagine yourself being bathed in pure light healing power that restores all that hold you back From being complete from being whole and being healthy this gentle pure Radiant allowing this light to touch you yourself to absorb this light to embrace it to allow it to Heal where there is a need for healing and so from this vantage point outside of the body you see yourself being even more in balance even more Perfected even more strong even more and you might also Imagine yourself being surrounded by a chalk circle on the ground totally Enclosing where you are sitting totally embracing you at the center of this circle You are safe.
You're in a place of peace protection and the circle reminds us of completeness unbroken timeless and flowing never-ending sitting within this circle You might be reminded that you are a part of this wonderful universe of the cosmos intricately beautifully perfectly formed even perhaps Those things that you feel are imperfect special They have a purpose the Tao teaching teaches that Embracing Tao you become embraced Breathing gently you become reborn clearing your vision you become clear So embracing the precious stillness of the moment the protection of this circle around you the healing of the bathing lust Breathing gently you become clearing your vision you become clear that you are connected with everything and Everyone you are not alone.
You are a vital part of life in the cosmos in balance You are in harmony with everything that is and just taking to be conscious of where you are physically place where you are physically at the moment the experience of living in a body becoming gently aware of physical sensations of sounds and feelings Opening your mind to the world of the universe and the world of the universe itself You are the center of the universe and the center of the universe itself You are the center of the universe and the center of the universe itself You are the center of the universe and the center of the universe itself You are the center of the universe and the center of the universe itself You are the center of the universe and the center of the universe itself
