How exist to collective How exist to collective Start by taking a comfortable seated position of your choice.
Your legs can be crossed,
You can sit on a cushion or block,
Whatever feels most comfortable to you.
Making sure you're sitting in a quiet place with no distractions around you.
Placing your hands either on your knees or thighs and gently closing your eyes.
Gaze goes inwards.
Draw your attention to your breath.
Noticing each inhale and exhale.
Feel your chest rise and fall with every breath.
Inhaling as your lungs fill and exhaling as your lungs empty.
Opening up through the chest by drawing your shoulders back and down.
Feeling your breath deepen as you open up.
Ground down through your sit bones connecting to the earth.
Keep your spine straight,
Sitting up tall and slightly tucking your chin in.
Let your body soften and relax into your seated position.
Letting your breath come and go.
Focusing on the inhales and the exhales.
As you dive further into your stillness,
Notice your senses awaken.
Notice the sounds around you.
What can you hear?
Notice the air touching your skin.
Notice any smells that are around you.
Noticing any sensations that may come up within your body or mind.
Now imagine you are lying in a field of flowers,
Resting your body as you look up to the sky.
The sky is clear.
It's a beautiful blue color.
Sense the space and emptiness of the sky as you gaze up.
Our moods,
Feelings and emotions are like clouds passing by in the sky.
Our moods,
Feelings and emotions are ever changing,
Ever shifting,
Just like the sky.
Now notice as thought clouds flow through the sky of your mind.
Observe these clouds with curiosity.
And just like the sky in nature,
Let the clouds pass by and drift away within your mind.
If a particular thought cloud stays stagnant in your sky mind,
Take a step back and let it go.
Let it pass as all the other thought clouds have passed before.
Bring your attention to the empty and vast sky in your mind,
Not attaching to any thought cloud passing by.
Notice if your mind has wandered,
Drifted away,
And slowly bring it back to the present moment.
You are not your thoughts.
You are simply the observer,
The passerby.
Notice thoughts flow in and notice them flow out of your mind.
Observe the space that appears between each thought cloud,
Savoring this moment of bliss,
Calmness and clarity.
You are not your thoughts.
You are simply the observer,
The passerby.
Now come back to your breath.
Feel your deep rhythmic breaths.
Flow with that rhythm.
In and out.
In and out.
Now allow yourself to come back to the present moment.
By observing any thoughts,
Emotions or feelings throughout your day with neutrality and spaciousness of a sky-like mind,
You allow yourself to be free from your mind.
You become less reactive.
You no longer seek anything that is out there because you know that what you have and what you are is enough.
So as you lay down in the field of flowers,
Trust that clouds will come and go just like your thoughts and emotions,
Allowing yourself to observe these clouds within your mind with detachment and with clarity.
Trust in the flow of life.
Nothing will last forever.
Bring your awareness back to your body as you return to your seated position.
You can slowly start wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes,
Waking the body back up.
Bringing your hands together in front of your heart center,
Taking one more deep inhale of clarity and on your exhale,
Sighing out any unwanted energy.
With love and light,
Namaste.
