Hello and welcome to this meditation.

Once you find a comfortable,

Quiet place,

Start to settle in,

Adjust your body and notice your breath.

Feel the surface beneath you,

Really supporting you in this moment.

Feel your breath guiding you to all the areas that are asking for a release.

With each exhale,

Visualize letting go of any of the tension that has built up from the day so far.

If you haven't already,

On the next breath,

Close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Connect to your inner landscape,

All the sensations that are here now.

I'll invite you now to picture that you are standing on a tranquil beach.

As you conjure up this visual in your mind's eye,

You may notice the sky is a beautiful shade of blue.

The waves are gently touching the shore.

It is a peaceful day in this location.

And you feel ready to just be here.

In your hand,

You hold an anchor,

Symbolizing the emotional weights that you carry.

They may be fear,

Guilt,

Anger,

Or sadness.

Feel the weight of the anchor and recognize the emotions they represent.

When you are ready,

Take a deep breath and slowly release the anchor into the water.

Watch as it sinks,

Gradually disappearing from view.

With each passing second,

Feel the burden lifting from your shoulders.

Notice how the water carries away the emotional weight,

Leaving you feeling lighter and more free.

If you have other anchors,

Take your time with the same practice.

Noticing the weight,

Recognizing the emotion,

And then slowly releasing the anchor into the water.

Allow yourself to acknowledge the new sense of liberation and peace that comes with each release.

Stay with this feeling for a few moments,

Letting it wash over you.

When you are ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Know you can always return to this practice whenever you need a moment to release anything that feels extra heavy.

Open your eyes when you are ready,

Carrying the sense of lightness and freedom with you throughout your day.

Thank you for your practice.
