Welcome to this emotional optimization practice.
Begin by finding a comfortable posture.
It can be sitting or lying down and gently close your eyes.
You can place your hands on your thighs or let them rest softly by your side.
Soften your jaw.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
Now bring your awareness to your breathing.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out slowly through your nose or your mouth and again breathe in deeply through your nose and breathe out slowly through your nose or your mouth.
Notice each in-breath.
Notice each out-breath.
Awareness that you are in the present moment and let go of anything else.
Next I'll be speaking in the I form.
Now I direct my attention inward and I think about the emotional and mental state that I want to create and embody within me.
Who I want to be and I name it clearly.
I want to feel like I'm always on top of the world and I picture this clearly.
What I want to feel like,
What I want to embody,
What it means to me and I notice how this makes me feel on the inside.
I imagine that I'm standing on top of a mountain at the very top and I'm looking out at the world around me.
I am on top of the world.
The sky stretches up above me in all its magnificent beauty and there is breathtaking scenery all around me.
I feel like I'm on top of the world.
The sun is shining and I can feel the sunshine.
I can hear the bird songs.
I can feel the breeze on my skin and the solid ground beneath my feet.
I hold my head up high.
My chest is open and my spine is tall.
I smile the biggest smile that I can.
I am on top of the world and it feels amazing.
I lift my arms high into the air like I've just won a marathon.
I feel alive.
There is nothing holding me back.
I shout and smile and laugh out loud.
I feel amazing.
I feel like I'm on top of the world.
I feel excited,
Limitless,
Exhilarated.
I take it all in.
This is what I want to embody.
This is what I want my natural state to be.
I want to feel like I'm always on top of the world.
I am powerful.
I am free.
I am on top of the world.
I take a deep breath in and savor this moment.
Then I breathe out slowly letting go of everything else.
I let this state stay within me.
I smile and I feel like I'm on top of the world.
One final deep breath in.
Then breathe out slowly and bring your awareness to where you are now.
Begin to gently move your body starting with your hands or your feet.
Take all the time that you need and with a big smile open your eyes.
