This live guided meditation was shared with graduating students from the Academy of Inner Wisdom as an invitation to experience the Tao through presence rather than effort. Rooted in acceptance, breath, and gentle awareness, this meditation supports a sense of connection, natural balance, and inner focus. It offers a quiet space to soften resistance, settle the nervous system, and return to the flow of life as it is. This is a live recording, not captured in studio silence. You may notice occasional background sounds, which are part of the shared teaching environment and can be gently included in your practice. All of my guided meditations on Insight Timer are based on the Tao and are designed to help release stress and exhaustion, restore clarity, and support a calm, focused state of being. If you’d like to deepen your practice, you’re warmly invited to explore my Insight Timer classroom, including Daily Pulse (10-day and 21-day versions), Writing Intentions, and SoleNumbers.

I ask you to make sure that you're really comfortable.

I like to have my back supported.

Uncross your arms and your legs,

Just because your body's going to create a natural vortex of energy.

And then just close your eyes gently and just have a quick check in.

Check in with your door.

Sometimes it's nice to give it a little rub.

And check in with your shoulders.

Yeah.

Maybe make sure that your eyes are gently resting,

That they're not tense.

Let's do two lovely,

Deeper breaths in,

Just deeper than normal,

At your own pace.

And when you focus on the inhale,

Think about the air getting to the bottom of your lungs.

And then for the exhale,

Empty your lungs,

Keep breathing out until your lungs are emptied.

And we'll do a couple of those.

And we bring ourselves to the moment because this is a joyful day and this is a joyful moment.

And we will connect to the down now through breath.

So we'll connect to fire energy.

I invite you to breathe in growth.

Breathe it in.

And when you breathe out,

To let go of fear.

And we'll connect to earth energy.

I invite you to breathe in nourishment.

As you breathe out,

To let go of sacrifice or gone.

And we'll connect to lake energy.

I invite you to breathe in happiness.

I invite you to breathe in happiness.

And breathe out negativity or gone,

Or gone.

And let's connect to thunder energy.

Let's breathe in acceptance.

And breathe out forcing.

And that's starting to feel good.

That's starting to feel right,

Isn't it?

And let's connect to heaven energy.

Let's breathe in creation.

And let's let go of self-pity.

We'll connect to water energy.

Let's breathe in assurance.

And let's let go of uncertainty.

And mountain energy,

Let's breathe in hope.

And let go of doubt.

And let go of doubt.

Wind energy,

Breathing in kindness.

Breathing out restriction.

And Tai Chi energy,

Breathing in flow.

And letting go of struggle.

And that feels good,

Doesn't it?

That does feel just right.

And we are preparing ourselves for our day.

All of our work is based on the Tao.

We have immersed and observed the Tao in this meditation.

Before we open our eyes,

Let's wiggle our fingers and our toes.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I like to rub my hands together just to activate the energy.

Yeah.
