Good morning dear friend.
This is Femke.
Let's get you started on the right foot today.
You don't have to get up yet.
You can lie down.
Feel how comfortable your head is resting on your pillow.
Feel how pleasantly your body is covered by the blankets or the sheets.
Feel how relaxed your body is after a night of sleep.
How every part is still sinking into the mattress.
How you are carried.
Now take some time to greet yourself in a way that feels good.
You could say,
Good morning darling.
How are you today my love?
And listen to the answer.
And whatever the answer is,
Whether you feel not so good or a little bit better than yesterday,
Or maybe you feel full of energy and really really happy,
Now ask yourself.
What can I do right now to feel a little bit better than I feel right now?
And listen to the answer.
And whatever the answer is,
Do it.
If you need some more sleep,
Close your eyes and let yourself sink back into sleep.
If you feel like reading a bit,
Pick up your book and read.
And if you just want to snooze your alarm clock for five more minutes,
Snooze.
If you are eager to get up,
Get up.
If you feel like making yourself a lovely breakfast and really take the time today to sit at a table and eat,
Do it.
If you cannot wait to go outside and feel the air on your skin and see the sun go outside.
If you feel like taking a really long shower,
Do it.
If you feel like taking a really long shower,
Do it.
Whatever you need now,
Listen to it and take yourself,
Your needs,
Seriously.
The best gift we can give ourselves is to listen to what we need.
Is to listen to that gently whispering voice within us that knows exactly how we're doing and what we need right now.
And I promise you,
When you will do this exercise every morning for 30 days,
You will significantly improve your feelings of well-being.
Whatever you feel like doing now,
Just do it.
Allow yourself to enjoy this moment where you give yourself exactly what you need.
And if you feel like meditating,
I invite you to come back to one of my guided meditations for your morning meditation.
And for now,
In love and with gratitude.
Until next time.
