Welcome to a five minute meditations with Full Moon Mama.

I'm Lauren.

I'll be your guide.

As you arrive to a place of stillness,

Soften the gaze or close the eyes.

Then when you're ready,

Begin to notice the breath.

Then notice the depth of your breath.

Is it full?

Or is it shallow?

Notice any feelings.

We're going to set them aside for right now.

Notice where your body is in relation to the room.

Notice the parts of your body that are touching the surface.

Notice the texture and temperature of that surface.

Notice how that surface is holding you up.

You are being held.

When you're ready,

Bring your attention back to your breath.

Again,

Noticing the quality of that breath.

Has it changed?

You have space to deepen it.

If it feels good,

Try inhaling to the very top of your breath.

Holds for three,

Two,

And one.

And release it any way that feels good.

And then again,

Taking as much air in as your lungs can expand.

Holding at the top of that breath.

Counting three,

Two,

One.

And exhaling any way that feels good.

And one more time.

A big breath in.

Holding for three,

Two,

One.

And exhale.

And allowing the body to take over breathing for you.

Noticing again any tightness or tension in that breath.

Noticing how it's changed.

Without judgment,

Without attachment,

Just noticing.

Know that you have the power always to deepen your breath.

To change patterns of breath.

You have that strength and you carry it with you all day and all night.

You are your own master.

Your weapon is your breath.

So I'll leave you here with it.

And if you need more time,

Take it.

And remember to breathe.
