This is a meditation and exercise that is very effective at finding the root cause of your anxiety by accessing subconscious memories and feelings. We will then release that core wound by bringing the light of loving, conscious awareness to the issue in a very gentle manner. Hello miraculous soul and welcome to this guided meditation on finding the root cause of your anxiety.
Take a deep breath in and out.
In and out.
Good.
And one more relaxing deep breath in and out.
Feeling your whole body relax and let go of any tension,
Worries or stress.
Now please remember to keep breathing deeply and slowly as you listen to the relaxing sound of my voice.
Today we will aim to find the root wound of your anxiety.
Many times the emotions we feel such as anxiety or fear are caused by an original unpleasant emotion that occurred at a moment in our lives.
That moment could have been terribly distressing for us or perhaps it was very subtle.
But over the years the rewounding of the original event intensifies and magnifies your anxiety till you were left feeling weighed down and held back by it.
I want you to know that you are not alone in this.
You are not broken and you certainly do not have to live forever feeling debilitated by or in despair about your anxiety beautiful soul.
I see our difficult emotions that arise as messages and alerts from our inner child and soul essence,
Our innocence for integration.
When viewed from the most loving perspective they are opportunities to integrate aspects of our innocence that were unacknowledged at some point in time.
There is an aspect of you that is completely pure and innocent but often that aspect of ourselves was entirely shut down,
Disregarded,
Ignored or misunderstood by those around us usually when we were children but our innocence can also be snuffed out in adulthood.
You see the truth of you is that you are divine,
Whole,
Worthy and complete no matter what ever happens to you in your life and no matter what your actions.
You are always loved,
Worthy and complete with or without anxiety.
It makes no difference at all.
You have a right to be here as your authentic self and a right to express your innocence.
The problem is that so many of us are in need of reintegrating our innocence and soul fragments that were suppressed.
What we will do now is get into a very deep and relaxed state and then tap into the subconscious mind where all of your memories are.
Your subconscious remembers everything that has ever happened to you.
So breathe deeply with me now in and out.
Wonderful.
In and out.
Feeling out all tension.
Feeling all the muscles in your body relax.
You are completely safe here.
Feel yourself sink further and further into the chair or bed you are in.
And feel yourself melting into it.
Notice how comfortable you are in your body.
You are so,
So comfortable.
So safe and secure.
So,
So relaxed here in this moment now.
Now I want you to imagine beautiful green healing light coming up from the center of the earth and into your feet.
And as it touches your feet you feel yourself relax so deeply in that area.
Then the light flows up through your legs relaxing them.
Soothing them.
Comforting them.
Then up,
Up,
Up through your abdomen relaxing you further.
Then your chest out to your arms and fingers and back up your arms to your neck.
And finally filling your head and entire body with the most gorgeous green healing light.
You notice how wonderful you feel and how safe you are.
You are safe,
Held and loved as we move into the next part of the process.
I want you to know that anxiety,
Although yes a very intense emotion,
Is just an emotion and we do not have to give it as much power as we so often do.
It is the stories we attach to the emotion of anxiety that can make it feel so unbearable,
Scary and overwhelming.
We make anxiety mean certain false things often about us when really we are not anxiety.
We are not the harsh stories we make up about ourselves because of our anxiety.
We are simply just experiencing anxiety.
We are experiencing the emotion and bodily sensations of anxiety and that is all.
It is something that happens to us but it does not define us.
It is not us.
We can separate the emotion from us because it is separate from us.
It is usually a symptom of a deep rooted trauma and that original trauma can be located and integrated which is what we aim to do in this meditation.
Remember to keep breathing deeply knowing you are so safe and comfortable here.
I want you to now think of a time when you felt anxiety and feel what it feels like.
Where does the sensation begin?
In your belly,
Your chest,
Your throat.
It is okay to feel it here now in this safe,
Healing green bubble of light that surrounds you.
Remember,
Anxiety is just sensations.
They do not need to overpower you and you are safe to feel them now in this safe place.
Really sink into the feeling of anxiety.
How does it make you feel?
Does it make your hands clammy?
Do you feel knots in your stomach?
How does it feel to you?
Keep letting that feeling arise.
Okay,
Now that the feeling of anxiety is here,
We are going to let it know that we are ready to understand it,
To listen to it and to find what caused it.
Let yourself know that you are here now,
Present and ready to lovingly listen to and understand your anxiety.
You are ready to be shown by your subconscious mind where this anxiety began so that you may integrate it and provide the feeling with the love that it originally needed.
Breathing deeply.
Let your subconscious mind bring up any images,
Thoughts,
Feelings,
Indications of when this anxiety began.
Let it bring those things up now.
Be patient.
Let whatever wants to arise arise.
Maybe you were shown a scene from childhood.
You might receive a message in your mind.
You might see symbols that relate to an experience.
Try not to judge whatever arises and just let yourself experience this for a while in your mind.
Okay,
So now you have seen where this original wounding has happened.
Or you have understood where it happened.
It is time to integrate your innocence and the way we do that is we offer our innocence the undivided attention,
Love,
Understanding,
Support and comfort that it needed but did not receive in that moment,
In that original wounding experience.
So beautiful soul,
I want you to in your own way let your innocence know that it is perfectly okay just as it is.
There is nothing wrong with it and there never was.
It is okay to be exactly who you are no matter what anyone may have said or done.
Say this to your innocence now in your mind or out loud.
It is okay to be exactly who you are no matter what anyone may have said or done.
Beautiful.
I like to imagine my adult self hugging,
Holding or comforting my child self,
My innocence or my wounded self and you might like to do this too.
Now tell your innocence any other words of encouragement,
Love or support it needed at the time but did not get to hear.
You can do this in your mind or out loud.
It is okay to be exactly who you are no matter what anyone may have said or done.
Okay so now you know where this feeling again and you have brought the light of loving awareness and consciousness to this event and this emotion.
You have not run from the feeling but rather faced and acknowledged it.
In doing so you have integrated a fragment of you,
Of your innocence that felt unloved and unheard.
In doing so you have become more integrated.
As we integrate more aspects of self we can often feel profound shift in consciousness.
It might not always happen but I find that I become very present after moments of integration.
I feel full in my heart and I hope this for you.
I also want you to know how brave you are for undertaking this practice and to feel so proud of yourself for this moment.
You have been so strong for yourself and for your pure innocence that always resides within you at all times.
Never forget that any emotion you may be feeling is a call from that innocence to stop.
Become very present with the feeling.
Acknowledge it and ask it what it needs from you.
You are the light of conscious awareness.
You have the power to expand your consciousness in these moments through self awareness,
Through self love.
So remember to ask your emotions what they need from you.
Perhaps you may need to go through this meditation again in order to find another call word to further integrate your innocence.
Or maybe your innocence is sending you an uncomfortable emotion just to hear a few words of support from you either in your head or out loud.
Some words of support may include,
It's okay,
I am here for you.
I will never leave you.
I love you.
I am listening.
I will stay with you until you need.
No matter what happens,
I will always be with you.
I am so sorry if I ever hurt you.
I am so sorry that you didn't feel heard.
I am here now.
I love you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
Ho'oponopono.
But listen,
You know the words you need to hear in that moment.
You will know what your innocence needs because it is your innocence and it is your life experiences.
So let's take another deep breath in and out.
You may need to do this practice again if other uncomfortable emotions arise because we likely have several core wounding experiences.
It is very helpful in those moments to surrender rather than resist.
That we resist persists when we can surrender,
When we can use the light of our awareness,
Our consciousness.
It is then that we transcend these difficult emotions.
It is then that we integrate them.
I will also be making similar meditations like this one for depression feelings,
For shame,
Guilt,
Anger,
Social anxiety and so on.

Something came up for me which I have not remembered for a long time.
