Are you a breastfeeding Mum wanting to be more present and content whilst breastfeeding your baby? Then this is for you! Breastfeeding can be a varied experience day to day depending on our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. This meditation will support you in being present whilst also receiving a sense of nourishment and replenishment as you feed your baby. Hi Mamas,

I'm so grateful to have you here today.

This meditation is designed for you to remind you to breathe and to hold space for you to breathe as you feed and nourish your beautiful Baba.

Breastfeeding can be a varied experience day to day and this meditation's intention is for you to feel a sense of nourishment whilst giving your energy and nourishment to your baby.

As well as supporting you in grounding and softening into the present moment with your bub and with your breath.

So when you're ready,

Get yourself comfortable,

Pop bub into a comfy feeding position for you and for them and know that you can move or adjust their position at any time throughout this meditation.

Now let's get started.

Close down your eyes if you're comfortable to.

Otherwise take a soft gaze down at your beautiful baby.

Take a few moments here just to settle into your space.

Settle into your body.

Locating and discovering your breath.

Notice your breath's natural quality.

Notice its rhythm.

And on your next exhale see if you can soften into your shoulders,

Into your jaw and into your neck.

Notice the warmth and weight of your baby in your arms.

See if you can notice their breath,

Its quality,

Its rhythm.

Notice the sensation of your baby suckling on your nipple.

Notice the sounds that they make,

Any movements or wiggles that they do.

And know that as you feed your baby,

Their heart rate slows,

Their body is nourished,

Their attachment hormones rise and their brains fall into a deep restorative place.

Just as your body is doing as you progress through this meditation.

You mama are your baby's safe haven,

Their retreat.

Allow your breath to deepen and your attention to stay with your breath.

Notice how you feel in this moment.

Notice how your muscles feel,

How your body feels.

Notice the state of your mind.

If the mind is busy or jumping between presence and mind chatter,

Just know that this is totally not the case.

And use the sensation of your breath and your baby's suckling to bring you back into this moment and into this breath.

Notice how your body is doing as you progress through this meditation.

Continue to breathe deeply,

Rhythmically.

And when you're ready,

Start to visualize the beautiful,

Bright,

Loving,

Embracing white light shining down from above to the crown of your head.

This light represents nourishment,

Nurturance and love.

And as this white,

Loving light pours down on you,

It saturates your whole self from the crown of the head down the front body.

Down the front body,

The back body,

The side body,

All the way to the toes beyond the soles of the feet.

This white,

Bright light saturates you with all that you need in this moment.

Just as your baby receives nourishment and nurturance from you in this moment through your breast milk,

Know that this light is your source to replenish,

Re-energize,

To be nourished.

Continue to visualize this white,

Bright light pouring in and pouring down all over your body into your cells.

And with each breath,

This light becomes more saturating,

Intoxicating throughout your whole self,

Throughout your whole body and your whole being.

Perhaps the white light also saturates and embraces your beautiful bub.

Continue with this visual for ten more breaths.

With each breath,

Again,

The light expands and grows and becomes stronger throughout your whole self.

When you feel ready with the support of your breath,

Release that visualization and start to come back to your body,

Its sensations,

Its pulsation,

Its quality.

Once you feel like you're back in your body,

Come back into your space.

Feel your baby in your arms and know that by infusing this time feeding them with the presence and with your breath,

That they too will have benefited immensely.

When you're ready to open your eyes and in gratitude to ourselves,

The divine and our beautiful bubbers,
