Letting go meditation take a deep breath this is a short sweet moment of freedom feel the spaciousness that's filling your lungs as you breathe allow yourself to become just a little bit more present in this moment wherever you are it's perfect meditation doesn't have to be sitting up straight in a chair on a cushion lying down you can be anywhere life is meditation just relax a little more open a little breathe a little deeper notice any sensations in your body and allow them to just relax a little let the sounds of life happening around you become part of the rhythm as you become more and more deeply relaxed with each breath sink a little deeper into your chair into the floor into your feet into your body just take another deep breath listen to the sound of my voice as you connect to the space within you that is holding on feel the sensations in your body notice where they are don't try and make meaning of them don't try to force them to do anything just just give them space get curious just notice what might it feel like to just let go what might it feel like to just let go letting go is releasing the effort letting go is letting go of effort and getting back into flow it is not giving up it is not weak it does not mean you have to forget letting go sets you free to move on what would it feel like to just let go imagine yourself somewhere now that you feel deeply relaxed take yourself into your body in this place somewhere you know in the past that you've instantly arrived and your shoulders relax you start to breathe deep float into your body in this place look through your own eyes hear the sounds around you of this relaxing place and feel the feelings of being right there completely deeply relaxed in the distance there's something coming towards you as it moves from being a tiny dot on the horizon to a blurry thing you notice as it moves towards you that it's actually the person the experience the place or the situation that you are holding on to really tight see it wrapped up in a bow feel in your body where you're holding on tight notice the cords connecting you and it I want you to imagine now that you take from your pocket a big beautiful golden blade and you sever the connections you sever the court cutting cleansing so even though you might still be holding on you can allow this object this person this situation this place to be separate from you for a moment and if letting go means freedom the forgiveness is the ultimate form of letting go know that you're only ever letting go when you forgive you don't have to forget and you're only ever liberating a part of yourself this practice doesn't require anyone else notice that you can find it within yourself to feel congruent enough to let this go you might even want to say to this place situation or person that's wrapped up in a bow I forgive you I love you thank you and I'm sorry and as you reach over and undo the bow just repeat to yourself I'm letting this go I'm letting this go I'm letting this go notice as you pull the ribbon off the situation it's now free and so are you back in the flow letting go I'm letting this go I forgive you I love you thank you and I'm sorry I'm letting this go I'm moving on notice as you do this the situation disintegrates it transmutes into something else notice the strength in you as you do so the energy that you've now claimed back to place into other avenues and as you take a deep breath begin to return back to your body in this moment and know that you don't need a meditation to let go you can simply say I'm letting this one go or the forgiveness mantra I forgive you I love you thank you and I'm sorry knowing that you're only ever forgiving a part of yourself and setting yourself free continue to breathe and just notice the sensations of freedom and what that feels like in your body if you need to you can rewind this audio and continue to practice the process until you feel completely free and now just become aware of your breath once again take the feeling with you as you open your eyes what's the first thing you feel called to do now that you're facing forward and you're free take a deep breath trust yourself go and do it you get to walk through this moment now like a moving alive meditation calm is a superpower namaste
