Hello and welcome back.
This is Victor.
I'm gonna lead a short meditation on the inner child This is something that I've been exploring More within myself lately and it's also something that has come up with my coaching clients with one of my coaching clients and And Tapping into the inner child is one of the ways to heal past wounds and traumas that you've experienced So essentially I come here today to meditate and To share this experience really with you I'm actually right now sitting outside Of my home and at this hour the birds are out and chirping So I'm using their sounds to my advantage.
It'll be nature sounds and perhaps One or two times you may hear cars passing by The beauty of living in Connecticut or Waterbury All right,
So like I said,
This is a guided meditation and Again,
This is one way to heal tap into your inner child So let us begin so hopefully right now You're in a place where you feel Safe Somewhere where you feel comfortable and safe Somewhere where you feel comfortable and safe to be you Where you're not distracted you can just tune in Just get comfortable now and close your eyes And just allow your body to begin to settle And just feeling your feet And just feeling your feet the weight of your feet on the ground beneath you Just feeling the weight of your body being held by the earth Just feeling your contact with the earth And allowing a sense of calm to enter your body Releasing any tension and tightness you may feel Just doing a quick body scan from head to toe Noticing any areas that need Some attention Some attention Just attend to it Relaxing your shoulders and your jaw Your arms just allowing them to relax Just allowing your whole body To find a sense of stillness Just notice your mind and your body as you drop Deeper into the present moment Noticing your mind and your body Here in this moment Just releasing more and more attention that you may be feeling As you become aware of it Being gentle with yourself and just allowing Just pay attention to your breath Feel your breath as it fills your lungs and your belly Feel yourself expand And feel as you deflate like a balloon Just follow your breath Noticing as you inhale and exhale Just becoming more and more relaxed And now just bringing attention to your mind's eye Connecting with yourself Bring a picture to your mind's eye Of your childhood home To an earliest time that you can remember as a child A place that you lived And just bringing that picture into your mind See if you can remember what it looked like Tap into the feeling of what it was like to be in that home That home that you can see in front of you And now as you get closer to this home Now just picture in the front step of this home A younger child You As a child And next to that child You stand there as an adult And you grab your inner child's hand Because essentially this is your inner child here And together you both walk to the front door of this home And just walk through the door and begin to explore what's inside the home Can you see all the different rooms?
Can you remember what it was like?
Do you remember how it felt?
Just spend a few moments here exploring your childhood home Just remembering to use your breath When you need to feel more relaxed Your breath is your life force energy And you can feel the energy in your body And you can feel the energy in your body Your breath is your life force energy that can support and nourish you As you walk around,
Notice if you see anybody Are there people there?
What are they doing?
Notice how they look and what they're saying and how they're behaving And just continuing holding your inner child's hand You both turn around to retrace your tracks back out the front door And before you step out the front door,
You kneel down and hug your inner child And you remind your inner child how safe they are You tell your inner child that they are safe That they are seen That they are accepted That they are enough That they are lovable And that they will always be with you And now you let your inner child go And you walk out the front door Bringing you back into your present moment Where you are in your room Just noticing the senses around you in your present moment Feeling your body moving your fingers and your toes And at your own pace when you're ready You can open your eyes Thank you so much for meditating with me Namaste
