Welcome to this Relax into Calm session for the June Full Moon focusing on gratitude.

I'm Ian Sharp,

A teacher on Insight Timer and your meditation guide at mindfullife.

Online.

This month the focus is on gratitude.

Find your most comfortable position.

When you're ready,

Stretch your spine and feel taller as you open your chest.

Gently close your eyes and breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Begin to notice where in your body to sense a feeling of gratitude for your life.

Gratitude for those people you love and people who love you.

Visualise their faces,

Their smiles,

Their expressions of love.

Hear how they speak.

See how they move.

On your next out-breath whisper,

Thank you.

Notice your gratitude for your health,

Your wisdom,

Your kindness.

Notice your gratitude for times when you stood up for yourself or for someone else.

Perhaps noticing now standing up for justice feels more important now than ever.

As you breathe,

Express gratitude for the smallest things.

Letting your breath just fall away now as you exhale,

Feeling your body sink deeper into relaxation.

Now,

Take some time to focus on the world around you.

Be here now in the present moment,

Connected to gratitude.

Be who you truly are.

You already have everything you need.

You are everything the world needs.

Feel your heart swell with love.

Recall the last time you felt goosebumps over a beautiful moment.

Recall that moment now.

Focus on the sounds,

Sights,

Aromas and feelings you experienced.

Reside in moments of love,

Including those moments threatening the brilliance of your spirit and the spirit of Gaya.

Bring awareness to your heart.

Recognise your strength.

Allow a brightness of spirits to build with every in-breath.

Imagine your inner brightness intensifying to the maximum,

Saying with conviction,

I have gratitude for this moment.

I embrace each day with joy.

I have gratitude for my dreams and desires.

I am mindful of small blessings.

I have gratitude for the reality I love.

I am mindful of the beauty of life.

I am thankful for every day.

Find time every day to connect with your feelings of gratitude.

Notice as prosperity extends beyond yourself into the entire world.

Now,

Gently draw your awareness fully back to the present moment.

When you hear the bell,

Slowly,

Gently open your eyes.

Go about your day with a deep sense of gratitude.
