We might be holding on to some emotions and energy that we no longer need.
They act negatively towards our well-being,
So it's time for us to practise letting go.
It's only when we master the art of letting go,
We will be able to see true happiness and peace in our lives.
First,
Let's come to a seated position and gently close your eyes.
Keep your back straight,
Relax your shoulder.
We will begin our practise by taking one long,
Deep breath together.
Inhale through your nose,
And exhale through your mouth.
Now check in with yourself and see how you are doing today.
Is there any tension in a particular area in your body?
We are always busy wandering and seldom take time to check in with ourselves.
And we often neglect the need for some self-love.
So now it's the time for you to ask your body how you are feeling today.
Now bring three emotions or any negative thoughts to the surface.
It could be an argument that you just had,
Or anxiety,
Or any stressful relationships.
Whatever it is,
We are going to face these emotions directly today.
We will have the courage to encounter them and to let them go.
Facialise them and picture them in forms or any shapes.
They could be in red or green or any colour of your choice.
Picture them being directly in front of you right now.
And let's take a deep inhalation.
On the exhalation,
Imagine you are blowing them away.
Let's do it one more time.
When you inhale,
Breathing in peace and compassion.
When you breathe out,
Letting all of the past events go and getting rid of all these emotions in your life.
Do it one last time,
Inhale and exhale,
Blowing them all away.
Return to your normal breathing and start to be aware of the noise around you.
Check in with your body one last time.
Do you feel any lightness after the exercise?
The art of letting go takes practices and only by practising it little by little,
Day by day,
We will be able to acquire the skills of letting go.
It might be a slow progress but surely it will come your way.
Now when you are ready,
Open your eyes and enjoy the rest of your day.
