And we will begin by just focusing on the breath.
Our first audible sound at birth is our breath.
So you can just notice the breath coming in the nostrils.
Maybe you can even hear it.
Just focusing on the feeling of it going in and filling up the lungs.
Feeling the lungs fill all the way to the bottom of the ribs.
Fully inflating.
And then exhaling completely.
And even when you think you're done exhaling,
Blow out a little bit more stale air out of the bottom of the lungs.
And a nice deep breath.
And another full exhale.
See if you can exhale for at least three seconds.
And again inhale.
Exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
One more like that.
Exhale for three,
Two,
One.
Anytime the mind wanders out of this moment,
Just come back to the breath or to the sound.
Just choose to leave anything that's happened before this moment outside the front door.
Any thoughts,
Concerns,
Plans,
Past,
Future.
Checked outside as we just open the eternal moment of now.
And just internally tell me what you're feeling.
Initially telling the body with every exhale,
I am deeper and deeper relaxed.
With every exhale,
I release and let go.
My body becomes more and more relaxed.
Feeling the muscles around the head and the neck and the back soften.
Releasing any tension or tightness.
Noticing the little body scan.
Is there any tightness or tension in my body?
And if so,
Can I just internally let it go?
Let it go with that part of the body.
And can you imagine what would it feel like in the body if you were just 5% more relaxed?
