Hello everyone and welcome to this guided meditation.

My name is Jolie and I thank you for joining me today and for taking this time to breathe into your body and connect back to calm.

Just taking a moment to get yourself comfortable.

Whether that's laying down or sat up tall.

Once you are comfortable,

Gently closing down the eyes or taking a soft gaze.

Taking a moment to tune all of your attention to your breath.

Noticing how it feels to breathe into your body.

And acknowledging the sensations as you breathe out.

Feeling the breath enter your body as you inhale.

And notice how the body automatically begins to relax with every exhale.

Your body knows exactly what to do.

And we are going to begin to consciously slow the breath down.

Taking a deep breath in through your nose.

And breathing out through the mouth.

Breathing deep into the nose.

And letting all of the air out with the exhale.

Notice how as you inhale the chest and the belly expand.

And as you exhale everything relaxes back down.

Just take a moment now to breathe through your body.

Noticing any sensations that you feel.

Any emotions that arise.

And any thoughts that the mind brings forward.

Greeting everything with love and kindness.

Breathing into the body through the nose.

And breathing out.

Giving yourself permission in this moment to soften and relax.

Taking a final deep breath in through your nose.

The biggest breath you've taken all day.

And breathe everything out.

Scanning your body for anywhere that you might be holding tension or strain.

And giving yourself permission to let go.

Quickly opening the eyes.

And acknowledging where you are.

The temperature of the day.

The sights that you see.

And most importantly acknowledging how you feel.

Taking a final deep breath in before we close this practice.

In through the nose.

And release everything through the mouth.
