This is eft/tapping practice is for taking baby steps towards self-love and acceptance. This is definitely a practice, not a one and done kind of thing. Please keep coming back to this practice whenever you need relief. It is guided, so newer practitioners can feel comfortable using this recording. Hello and welcome to your EFT for self-love and acceptance.

My name is Casey and I will be leading you during this EFT tapping session.

Before we get started,

Find yourself in a comfortable seat,

Feet planted on the ground and sitting bones grounded into your chair.

Lengthen through the crown of your head on an inhale and slowly exhale through your nose.

Two more breaths just like that.

A slow,

Smooth inhale through your nose and a slow,

Smooth exhale through the nose.

One final time.

Nice,

Slow,

Controlled breath in,

A brief pause at the top and a slow,

Smooth exhale through your nose.

Before we start the tapping,

I want you to rate yourself on a scale of one to ten.

One being no feeling at all and ten being extreme discomfort.

So evaluate where you fall on that scale right now before our practice and then again at the end we will take a moment to see where we are.

We will say the setup statement three times and all of the other statements twice.

Our setup statement,

We are going to tap on the karate chop point on the outside of the hand,

On the pinky side.

It does not matter which side you start with or if you interchange,

Just whatever you're most comfortable with.

So tapping at the karate chop point,

Even though I am struggling with loving and accepting myself at the moment,

I give myself permission to just be.

Still tapping at the karate chop point,

In between your eyebrows.

It's a struggle to love and accept myself right now.

Tapping under the eye,

I am very hard on myself.

I have high expectations of myself.

I struggle when I don't meet them.

Gently placing your hands back into your lap.

Pausing to take a few breaths.

Noticing how you feel.

Keeping your eyes closed or soft.

Checking in one final time.

Come back to our scale of one to ten for our most pressing issue of self-acceptance and love.

Where do you fall on that scale?

One being no pain,

No discomfort.

Ten being extreme discomfort.

And wherever you are,

Whether that changed or it stayed the same,

It's all good.

Just keep coming back to the practice.

Anytime those negative,

Self-doubting thoughts and feelings start to arise,

Think about where the proof is.

Remember,

Thoughts are just sensations of the mind.

It does not make them real.

We have to make them real.

And we make them real by believing them.

So when you start to think of things that are not true,

Simply dismiss them as not being true.

On your next inhale,

Circle your palms overhead.

Touching palms,

Exhale,

Bringing them down to your heart center along with all of that divine universal energy.

And that divine universal energy vibrates as the frequency of love through which you and I and all sentient beings are connected on this planet.

The light in me salutes and honors the light in you.
