Hello and welcome to this resting with your breath meditation.

Taking a moment to get yourself comfortable.

You may lie down or sit up.

However you choose just making sure that your spine is nice and supported.

Knowing that you can always adjust or change your position during the meditation.

This is your meditation so making sure that you honor your needs.

And in your own time gradually closing down your eyes or choosing to have a soft gaze to the floor.

Feeling yourself here.

Feeling your body being held by the surface beneath you.

And beginning to notice your breath.

Allowing your breath to breathe itself.

Feeling the inflow and the outflow.

And you might ask your breath how would you like to breathe in this moment.

Asking into this body intelligence of breathing.

How would it like to breathe right now.

And noticing how does your breath respond.

Is it shallow or deep.

Perhaps the breath is more noticeable in the chest area or down in your belly.

Maybe your breath changes or perhaps it stayed the same.

Simply noticing the response your breath has.

Sensing the subtle movements that are occurring.

And then feeling what it's like to pause and just be with your breath.

Be with your body's expression of breathing.

Resting your awareness and intention on moment to moment breathing.

Maybe notice if there is any part of the breathing process that feels pleasant or pleasurable.

Maybe when you exhale or when you inhale.

Becoming aware if there's any part of this that feels comforting and supportive.

Perhaps it's the opening into the in-breath as you take a breath in.

Or it might be in the releasing of the out-breath.

Maybe it's both or neither.

Just simply sensing if there's a place of ease or comfort in any place of your breathing.

And to whatever degree the breath feels pleasant.

Enjoy that.

Savoring these moments through the doorway of your breath.

And whenever you feel ready,

Just bringing your focus back out into the room.

Feeling your body being held and in your own time blinking open your eyes.
