The first session is all about calming that fight or flight response, also known as the acute stress response. If you live in a constant state of stress or in that fight or flight frame of mind, your body cannot heal. Anxiety can cause a similar reaction in the fact that your body will not be able to properly heal if you are continually anxious. It makes sense that the first place to start on any healing journey is by finding that place of peace and calm within.
