The Garden of Forgiveness To begin with,

Simply position your body as comfortably as you can,

So your body feels fully supported.

And now,

If you would,

Take a deep cleansing breath,

Inhaling as fully as you comfortably can,

Hold it for a moment,

And then easily exhale.

I invite you to just notice your breathing,

Let everything else go,

Any thoughts or image,

Simply let them flow by.

Allow yourself to be deeply relaxed,

More so than you've ever been.

Simply relax and go into that sacred space that is you.

Simply notice the tension,

Pain,

Or stress that you're experiencing,

And where you hold it in your body.

It could be fear or anxiety.

It could be a long-held resentment.

It could be stories of your own.

It could be a story of your own.

It could be stories of the past and fears of the future.

Just notice where you're feeling it in your body.

You truly cannot separate body,

Mind,

And spirit.

They are basically interactive and all one.

And each affects the other.

And usually we say body,

Mind,

And spirit,

But that's backwards.

We are spirit with a mind and a body.

And events and experiences,

Things that happen to us,

And the meaning we put on them always affect our mind and body.

Simply a good thing to notice.

So once again,

Be aware where you're holding all of those tensions and stresses in your body.

They've been building up over time.

And each time you get triggered or remember it,

We call it tension,

Stress,

Pain.

And simply know they come from the past and future fear.

And please know that living in the past and the future is illusion.

It's best to live in the present right now,

Which is really all there is.

So for a moment in this sacred space,

I invite you to take a deep breath of healing light.

And perhaps it comes straight from the light of Christ.

And that healing light may have a color.

And whatever color comes is the right color for you at this time.

And you may be able to see the light of the light in your heart.

Every color vibrates at a different hertz.

You don't have to think about it or even plan it.

Whatever color comes is the right color for you in this moment.

I invite you to notice your head,

Face,

Your ears,

Your eyes,

Your eyes,

Your nose,

Your jaw,

Your chin.

Simply notice the stress or anxiety that's been building there.

You might call that sensation pain or discomfort.

And also,

Please notice the stress and tension places in your back,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms and hands.

You might also notice the stress in your chest,

What you thought was your broken heart,

Your tight lungs,

Often feeling you can't breathe from anxiety.

I also invite you to notice the knot in your stomach,

The feeling of disease,

Discomfort that we often call anxiety.

And the fight,

Flight or freeze sensation in your legs and feet.

Understanding that stress and anxiety come from thoughts that also show up in your body.

So I simply invite you to notice and recognize it.

And once again,

Take a deep breath of healing light.

Gather all of it up from the top of your head,

Clear down through your body to the bottom of your feet.

Simply gather all of it up.

And as you exhale,

Turn all of it into purple smoke.

That's all it is anyway,

Smoke and illusion.

The past is over.

It is finished,

It is done.

The only way it shows up is when we remember it.

The only way it shows up is when we remember it again and again and again.

And we often transpose it to the future,

What if.

And again,

We imagine it happening again and again and again.

Even though it is nothing but memories of the past and future fears,

It feels real.

The subconscious does not know the difference between what is actually happening or if it's a memory of happening in the past.

It feels the same,

As if it's real.

As you exhale,

Simply gather it all up,

Allow it to be a warm purple wave,

And it moves down from the top of your head,

Your face,

Your chest,

Your abdomen,

Your legs,

Feet,

And toes.

And simply allow it to flow out into the universe.

Again,

A wonderful deep breath and exhale.

And just allow yourself to be more deeply relaxed than you've ever been.

And just allow yourself to be more deeply relaxed than you've ever been.

I invite you to just notice your breathing of that healing color for a moment.

Be still.

Let everything go.

And if you choose,

Imagine yourself in a beautiful garden where you feel peaceful and safe.

And if you choose,

Imagine yourself in a beautiful garden where you feel peaceful and safe.

Where you feel peaceful and safe.

As you bask in the radiating light,

Surrounding everything in this special place,

You smell the rich fragrance of the vibrant flowers from all different colors.

And feel the warmth of the gentle breeze on your skin.

And listen to the rustling of the leaves.

You can hear the singing of the birds above you.

The rippling of the water in the stream is pleasant and soothing.

And as the light increases,

You turn and see the Savior smiling at you.

He asks,

Do you enjoy the garden?

Of course.

It's a beautiful garden.

He asks,

Do you enjoy the garden?

Of course.

It's the most beautiful garden you've ever seen.

He replies,

Actually,

It is the Garden of Gethsemane.

And because what I did here for you,

It became full of richness,

Beauty,

And light.

You hear him as he says,

I am aware of the burdens you are carrying.

The feelings of not being good enough.

Feeling like a failure,

That you will be rejected and no one will ever love or accept you.

And sometimes feeling offense at what others have done or not done.

The grudges you are holding.

And all have created great stress.

You have simply forgotten who you are.

Your true essence is love.

And when you move away from love,

You suffer.

A refusal to forgive causes great stress.

He holds out his hands and says,

I will take your burden.

You know what he is asking.

You turn and see all the people in your life.

And your hope is always there.

And your hope is always there.

You turn and see all the people in your life that you felt hurt you,

Betrayed you,

Offended you.

Simply say to them,

I love you,

Since you are love.

And I forgive you for anything you did or didn't do that I felt hurt or harmed me.

I don't know why you did what you did.

I cannot judge you.

Only Christ can judge.

And then my sweet child,

Simply say to them,

I ask you to forgive me.

Simply say to them,

I ask you to forgive me for anything I've done or not done that caused you pain.

And then the final piece,

I forgive myself for holding onto this for so long.

And at your feet is a basket.

Into that basket put all the fear,

Anxiety,

Stress,

Resentment,

Despair,

Depression,

Shame,

Guilt,

Hopeless,

Helpless.

Any other negative emotion that you have felt.

And now that you have everything in there,

Pick it up and turn.

The savior is there holding out his hands,

Waiting for your basket,

Your burden.

And he says again,

I told you I would take your burden.

You willingly give it to him.

He smiles.

Takes your basket and thanks you for letting him be your savior.

He puts his hands over and around the basket,

Holds it for a moment,

Smiles.

And then opens his hands.

And what do you see?

Then perhaps he puts his hands on your head and cleanses you,

Blesses you,

And tells you how much he loves you.

His words sink deep into your heart and you will remember.

And as he departs,

He reminds you,

Remember you are love.

And so you are.

And now you are.
