Hi,

This is Manal.

Welcome to Letting Go of Labels,

Reconnecting with Your Authentic Self.

The intention of this meditation is to guide you to recognize how labels may be keeping you trapped and to liberate yourself through connecting with the life of authenticity and harmony.

There are so many labels that we are born into and that form as we develop into adulthood.

Some labels are universal,

Like man or woman,

Child or adult,

White or black skinned.

Some are specific to your journey,

Like Christian,

Muslim,

Jewish,

American,

Latino,

Student.

Some are achieved,

Like doctor,

CEO,

President,

Professional,

Athlete.

Some are characteristic.

Some are positive.

Some are negative,

Optimist or peptimist,

Happy or sad.

Some of these labels provide you with an identity and a community and are comfortable.

Some of these labels inhibit you and inhibit your connection with your true self.

Some of these labels separate you from others.

Some of these labels are passed on to you but do not resonate with your truth.

Perhaps it's time to let go of some of these labels.

To hold on to the positive aspects,

Yes,

But to let go of the concept that it is these labels that define you.

It is your human that makes you special.

It is your human that makes you alive.

It is your human that makes you matter,

Not your labels.

Let's take a moment to dispel all the labels you may have inadvertently adopted or those that society have placed upon you.

Choose to be you.

Choose to just be you.

Let's start with three grounding breaths.

Take a deep breath in and release.

Take a second deep breath in and release.

Take a third and final deep breath in and release.

Take a moment to reflect on this preamble and on any labels that you identify with or may have been labeled on you that you do not identify with.

Reflect on the positive aspects of labels or any of the labels that you have adopted.

Reflect on the negative or limiting aspects of any of these labels.

Any label that empowers you and creates a sense of connection is fantastic.

Labels that impede your connection to your inner being and that minimize your ability to radiate your truth might be labels that we can let go of.

Acknowledge the value of labels in your life journey and take a moment to recognize what growth these labels may have provided for you.

Appreciate the human journey is about finding connection and identity and that these labels facilitate these at times.

But at a certain point in your life you're able to connect with your truth and may not require these labels to create a sense of connection.

Appreciate your growth.

Appreciate you and your human journey.

Appreciate the beauty of the human journey and the connections that we have and make along the way.

And release.

Release any resistance that you connected with.

Release any of the negativity and release any labels that you choose that no longer serve you.

Release.

Choose now to invoke the connection to your authentic self.

A connection with your inner power.

Feel the strength.

Feel your authenticity.

Feel your clarity.

If you find yourself leaning into your labels,

Take a pause and slowly bring yourself to connect with the true you.

Your authentic self.

Hold on to anything that empowers you and creates a sense of connection.

Let go of anything that does not serve your alignment with the true self of who you are.

Enjoy the journey.

Some of these concepts will take the time that is best for your highest good to integrate.

Be compassionate as you re-adapt to recognizing your values from being you,

Not what and how you are labeled.

Enjoy your journey.

Celebrate your journey.

Celebrate you.
