Relax in your chair.

Have your palms up,

Your eyes closed,

Your feet flat on the floor or cross leg is fine.

And take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs.

And then slowly emptying your lungs.

When they're completely empty,

Taking another big breath in,

Filling upper lungs,

Back of lungs,

Side of lungs.

Enjoy that fullness.

And then slowly and completely exhale all the stale energy and air out of your lungs.

Once more.

When you're empty,

Inhale once more.

Coming up,

Holding full,

And then exhale slowly and completely.

And when you have done,

Return to natural breathing.

Focusing on our inhalation and exhalation.

Being conscious of the prana or the vital energy that's flowing in together with the air.

That this prana rejuvenates and revitalizes all aspects of our being.

Feel it moving through your body,

Coming into your lungs and through the bloodstream.

It spreads out to all our organs,

All our systems of our body.

And also be aware that it is rejuvenating our emotional body as well as our physical body.

And thanking yourself for giving yourself this time today for nurturing.

Just for you.

This very important time to withdraw from everything else.

And feel into our own sense of self,

Of who we are.

And breathing in as we call ourselves back from everything else that our mind wants to travel to,

Is distracted by,

Any monkey mind.

Exhale letting go and coming into here and now.

Inhale again and releasing ourselves from everything else apart from this moment and our breath.

Calling ourselves back from everything in the future that hasn't happened yet and may never ever happen.

So calling ourselves back from any investment or projection of ourself into the future.

Inhale and release and be here now.

Being aware of yourself in your physical body,

On your chair or floor or bed,

Wherever you may be.

So today we're going to release some of the blockages that cause us stress and that layer up on top of our sense of self.

Disguising or hiding who we truly are from ourselves.

So often it can be really difficult to tune into and come to know that true self.

So just taking a breath in and relax into yourself.

With each exhalation dropping further into your physical body.

Letting your mind know now that it's time for meditation.

And inhale and releasing out of your mind all the distractions.

Thanking them,

Thanking our mind for doing its job.

But giving it a direction now.

Now it's time to focus on our breathing and wherever the meditation will take us to.

So please coming into your heart.

Breathing into our heart and relax.

Breathing in and breathing out of the back of our heart.

Bringing our focus up to the top of our head,

Our crown chakra.

We're going to call in some light to assist us with this meditation.

So sending our focus up above our heads.

Straight up and out into the universe.

Through this beautiful universal energy and right out to the infinite light beyond.

Stretching with our imagination.

Calling to this light.

This unconditionally loving luminous light.

And now we're going to inhale and call it down with our intention and our breath.

And the light flows down from across the universe.

Down to our crown chakra and be aware of the lotus flower sitting here.

Opening its petals to the light.

Receiving.

Be conscious of any sensation as it now moves down through our body.

Through all our meridians,

All our physical body,

All our energy body,

All our chakras.

And out of our base chakra or base of spine down into the earth.

So intend that it flow down into the heart of Mother Earth.

Greeting her if you wish.

And then drawing up this light and energy back up through our bodies.

Noticing and sending the light back up to the source from which it came.

Gathering that in again with your breath.

Inhale.

Drawing this beautiful light down.

Fresh luminous light.

Infusing all the cells of our body as it passes down into the earth.

Gift that light back up again.

Back to the highest point in the universe.

And embrace that light again.

Bring it down.

Feeling it moving.

See this pillar of light that we are building getting stronger and brighter every time we do this practice into the earth it goes.

And now from below and above simultaneously,

Inhale and bring that light into our heart space or our heart chakra in the middle of our chest.

And let that light swirl and settle and soften our hearts.

Let it soften our hearts.

And open our hearts a little more.

And let's start by calling in self-compassion.

Such a very beautiful and important quality,

A gift to our self,

Compassion.

Breathe that into your heart.

And it comes down in the beautiful form of soft pink light into our hearts,

Compassion.

For we know that life is tough and we've been through all sorts of difficulties and challenges.

And it's been quite a journey to find our way through and to work out what's going on.

And amongst all of this,

To know who we truly are underneath all of these challenges,

All the things that we've had to deal with.

Where am I?

Who am I?

Breathe into your heart.

That is our intention for this meditation today.

And it's like send that seed into our heart.

Who am I truly?

The true self.

Breathing that into your heart and send it deep into your heart.

And we'll just let that float there.

Now we do some releases of the things that get in our way and of course to stress and blocked us from knowing our true self.

So for many of us,

We have come under lots of criticism in our childhood and in our adulthood.

And that energy is probably still sitting in our energy field.

So let's release that now.

All energy of criticism that's come our way throughout our life.

Let's let go of that energy out of our energy field now.

And taking a big breath in and breathing out as we release that.

Use your strong intention to let go of the energy of criticism.

We don't need to remember all the details of that.

Letting go of all criticism,

The energy of criticism.

Inhale,

Breathe it out of your solar plexus.

That soft area between your rib cage.

That's it.

Lots and lots of that.

Just letting it go.

And inhale and breathing it out of the back of our solar plexus.

Lots from the past.

And just sitting comfortably again,

Breathing naturally.

And let's let go of the energy of the judgment about us.

Others have judged us.

This has not helped.

In disclosing to ourselves who we are,

This judgment interferes with the expression of ourself.

So let's release all judgment that we've received from others.

Inhale and breathing out of your throat chakra.

Letting from our throat chakra all the judgment from others.

Letting it go.

Being in rid of this,

Setting ourselves free of other people's judgment.

And now let's let go of judgment that we have made about ourselves.

Inhale and release that.

When we judge ourselves and we possibly do this more often than we even realize,

We may hear our internal voice going,

Why did you do that?

That was stupid.

All sorts of things like this.

We may hear in our self-talk to show us that we are judging ourselves yet again,

Rather than accepting that,

Well I may have made a mistake,

I may have stuffed that up,

But that's okay.

I'll try again.

I'll do better next time.

I'll learn from this.

So breathing in and releasing the judgment from our throat chakras.

Judging ourselves.

And you're sitting comfortably now in your heart again.

And we're going to now release the energy of not being seen.

Our who we are or our true self not being seen by important people in our lives,

Whether they be family or teachers or friends or employers or colleagues.

The not being seen.

Just inhale and release that from throat chakra and solar plexus chakra.

And inhale and release from sacral chakra above our pubic bone and our base chakra.

Release that out of our relationships.

Out of our self-identity.

And you might like to just say to yourself,

I release myself from all attachment to my identity that is not true to who I am.

And inhale and breathe that out of your navel chakra.

So anything that we've grasped onto or we think that other people want us to be and we're trying to be this,

But it's not really us.

Let go of all of those things.

Inhale and release from navel chakra again.

Let it go.

And next breath,

We'll release it from solar plexus.

Let's let go of all doubts and uncertainties now about ourself.

All of these could stem from all that false identity.

Stem from all that we've said previously.

So inhale and releasing from solar plexus.

All self-doubt and uncertainties about ourself,

Who we are,

Our purpose in life.

Letting go.

Sitting with yourself again.

And feeling into the times where you may be seeking other people's approval and acceptance.

Outsourcing our approval and acceptance to others where we could be giving ourselves this approval and acceptance.

So inhale and releasing from solar plexus.

When we give away this power to others to approve of us or accept us,

Let's let go of that seeking and let's give it to ourself.

And first of all,

Please say,

I call my power back.

I call my power back.

I call my power back from all the people that I've given it to when I've been seeking approval or acceptance.

And breathe that into solar plexus and navel.

Calling back your power.

Calling it back in.

You might like to visualize in some way.

I sometimes think about the tentacles of an octopus coming back into self.

It was always yours.

You've given it out there and now you're calling it back.

Bringing those tentacles of self empowerment back to you.

Very good.

And let's say,

I accept myself and I approve of myself just as I am.

And breathing that into solar plexus.

I accept and approve of myself.

How does that feel to give yourself this acceptance and approval?

Breathing it in again to navel and solar plexus.

Breathing it into your belly,

Into your digestive system to soothe that.

This may take a little while if we've been giving it away for some time.

For you to really call this in.

More fully or powerfully.

But it is a practice worth doing.

Something that you can become conscious of each day.

Of calling this power back to you and giving yourself approval.

You don't need anybody else's approval to be yourself.

And accepting who you are.

Just as you are.

Just as you are.

And being in your heart.

Breathing in this beautiful luminous white and pink light.

Breathing it into your heart.

Feeling up with compassion again in your heart.

And breathing it into solar plexus.

Self-compassion.

And just letting ourself know that we are loving ourselves more and more each day.

We're learning to love ourselves.

And breathe that into heart and solar plexus.

Sometimes this can be a long journey.

But each day we take one little step further in loving ourselves.

Calling this in and breathing it in.

That beautiful loving energy and the self-compassion energy and light.

Into heart and solar plexus.

Loving ourselves.

How does that feel?

What sort of sense of self does that give us?

When we are gifting this to ourselves and we really are the best people to be giving ourselves approval and acceptance and love and compassion.

We need to love ourselves.

Not selfishly.

But it does actually enable us to love others more.

So breathing this in,

Filling our hearts.

And as we go deeper into our hearts now.

Our hearts will show us more clearly than anything else who we truly are.

Deep within all of us.

Deep within all the layers of stuff that hides or disguises who we are.

So you may like to imagine a six-pointed star.

A triangle pointing up and a triangle pointing down.

Intersecting.

And in the center there is a point or a bindu point.

And this six-pointed star sits at the front of our heart.

And we use this symbolically to go deep within.

So gazing into that point in the center of the six-pointed star.

And allowing ourselves to go within this point like a tunnel.

That we can flow into our hearts through the bindu point.

Going deep within our heart.

Going deep within our heart.

Giving this to yourself.

Let all thoughts of this not being possible just drop away.

And open ourself to the limitlessness of going deep within our hearts.

You may like to imagine our heart as a lotus flower with a gem in the center.

And as we travel deep into our heart,

As we travel deep into our heart,

The petals of the lotus open.

Shining a luminous light of our heart.

Bright and beautiful within our heart.

Our own hearts luminous.

And in the center there is a beautiful gem.

And just allow yourself to gaze at this crystal deep within your heart.

And as we gaze at the crystal just allow ourselves to be shown or led.

This is safe.

Follow your intuition.

Being open to anything.

We each have our own language.

Allow yourself to read this language.

To understand this language.

And if it's very puzzling just ask to be shown more clearly what this crystal is showing us about our true selves.

Who are we?

We're gaining a deep sense of self.

This is our authentic self.

And as we know this more deeply,

We can start to show this without.

We can start to trust in our inner knowing of who we are.

And our inner knowing of who we are.

We are luminous beings.

Just like the light we brought in from above,

There is light within us.

And just being aware that that light from above continues to flow in.

It meets with the light within.

And we gain a profound sense that we are much greater that we are much greater than just this body.

Or just our emotions.

Or just our mind.

We gain a sense of oneness with all.

Just breathing in and let yourself expand into the oneness.

We can bring this sense of self back with us.

And we can come back here into meditation to revisit again.

To let our vibration rise again and remember again.

To let our vibration rise again.

And rise again and remember again who we are.

And little by little,

We express this authentic self in the world.

With confidence and with courage.

Knowing who we truly are.

And breathing in.

And just meditating here for a few more minutes.

Coming back when you're ready.

And if you are ready to come back down,

Just bring your focus down to the base of your spine.

And let's ground this into our life now.

So inhale and exhale out of the base of your spine.

Imagining that you're like a bird.

And just letting go.
