Living With Anxiety, Gently: A Week Of Inner Safety

With Mark Rowland

This seven-day course is an invitation to soften, to rest, and to rediscover the quiet safety that already lives within you. Rather than fixing anxiety, we gently learn to sit beside it with kindness. Each day offers a short teaching and a guided meditation that encourages presence, self-compassion, and a deeper trust in your own inner ground. There is nothing to achieve here, only space to be with yourself as you are.

Meet your Teacher

Mark Rowland is a meditation guide and sound practitioner who creates gentle, grounding spaces for people living with anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional fatigue. His work is rooted in compassion, presence, and a deep respect for the human nervous system. Having walked his own path with anxiety and periods of emotional difficulty, Mark teaches from lived understanding rather than theory alone. He believes that calm is not something we force or achieve, but something we gradually remember when we feel safe enough to rest. Mark’s approach blends mindfulness, self-kindness, and quiet awareness, offering practices that meet people where they are. His sessions are known for their softness, inclusivity, and permission-based guidance, making them especially supportive for those who feel easily overwhelmed or pressured by more effort-driven practices. Through his courses and meditations on Insight Timer, Mark aims to create spaces where nothing is demanded, nothing is rushed, and each listener is gently reminded that they are already enough.

Very beautiful course, it helps to kindly and gently release the grip that anxiety can have. Lesson 4 was magnificent (resting in awareness, which is steady). Thank you so much for creating this 🙏🪷
