Good morning everybody.

My name is Monica Zans and I want to welcome you to Meditations with Monica.

We have an opportunity to take time out of our moment,

Out of our busy lives,

And really reflect on what the day has to bring us.

Glad to see you here welcoming you,

Welcoming all the people who will be joining us to this beautiful moment where we get to come together,

Breathe together,

Lay together,

Pray together,

And be in meditation together.

So go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable position whether you're sitting or lying down.

Allow your body to come to rest,

Feeling the support of the earth,

The bed,

The chair,

Whatever you're seated on,

Feeling that support right now beneath you,

Holding you,

Holding you up,

Reminding you to have confidence,

Reminding you to have space inside of yourself,

To lean on something other than just you.

And we'll begin with a few deep cleansing breaths to get our body set.

Breathing in through our nose,

Slowly and gently releasing out of our mouths.

That's right.

Just finding your way inside,

Allowing yourself to be still,

Allowing yourself to be present.

Another deep slow breath finding our way inside.

And just holding there and noticing any part of the body,

Doing a body scan,

Wiggling your toes,

And scanning up from your toes through your shins and calves,

Your knees and thighs,

Your hips and buttocks,

Your back,

Just scanning through your shoulders,

Your hips and buttocks,

Your back,

Just scanning to see if there's any tightness,

Anything ready to be released,

Anything ready to be completed.

Scanning your stomach,

Your chest,

Your heart space,

Scanning your actual spinal column,

And if there is any tension,

Any constriction,

Any limitation of any kind,

Just simply and effortlessly breathe right into that spot.

A deep breath in,

Slowly and gently and easily release.

Very good.

Scanning your face,

Your neck,

Your head,

Giving some attention to that neck that holds your precious face,

Your precious head,

And your thoughts that can often weigh so much.

Breathing into that now in gratitude for the strength of our body to know how to hold up what is needed to be held.

And continuing to breathe in and out deeper and deeper effortlessly into the spaces that need it most.

And now bringing your attention and your breath into your heart space,

Your tender heart,

Your heart that holds so much for you.

It holds your feelings.

It holds the impact of your thoughts.

It holds the weight of things waiting to be revealed.

Your heart being that space of loving,

Of kindness,

Of compassion,

Of generosity.

And I want you to take a moment and pause to ask your heart three precious questions.

Continuing to breathe as you do this and not seeking necessarily what the answer may be,

But simply looking at the space of your heart.

Allowing your heart the tenderness and preciousness of whatever it is that it needs to share with you in whatever way it needs to share with you.

So question number one,

Do your heart have the same feeling that you do?

Do you have the same feeling that you do?

Do you have the same feeling that you do?

Do you have the same feeling that you do?

And then question number one,

Do your heart,

What do you want?

What do you long for?

What do you seek?

Just being with that question,

Not needing or searching for an answer,

But simply being at rest.

Dear heart,

What do I need?

What do I need to be more tender,

Gentle,

Kind,

Supportive,

Courageous,

Confident,

Ready?

And breathe into that question.

Very good.

And question number three,

How am I to serve you?

How am I to serve you?

Allowing your heart to speak its truth,

To share with you without the seeking or searching for the answer.

Just be right now in that space.

Dear heart,

What do you need is question one.

Dear heart,

What do I need is question two.

And dear heart,

How may I serve you is question three.

Just laying in a state of curiosity,

A state of calm,

A state of peacefulness,

A state of allowing whatever is meant to come forward and be revealed for you to come forward right now at this time.

And taking that deep breath in.

We tend to be creatures of habit,

Longing to avoid necessary change.

We like to know what we're doing,

Where we're going,

How we're getting there.

Sometimes we are fearful of the change that is around us,

Fearful of the unknown that is around us.

But what if you knew that the unknown was the access point,

The space of neutrality,

The equilibrium between you and your divinity,

Between you and the unknown lives the vast expansiveness of memories,

Experiences,

And opportunities to learn and grow.

From the unknown arises creative thought,

Possibility,

And opportunity.

From the unknown rises truth,

Vision,

Intuition,

Insight.

Prediction.

It's time for you to fall into the unknown for a moment here now.

Just allowing yourself to be held inside of this space.

Yes,

It may require change.

It may require expansiveness.

It may require the unknown.

But this is your time to arrive here now.

To allow change to be your friend.

To allow change to invite you,

To excite you,

To help you feel alive,

To help you thrive,

To search for new answers,

New beginnings,

New possibilities.

Change is like the mountain that you're walking on.

New possibilities.

Change is like the mountain top,

Not the mountain.

Change is like the opportunity,

Not the pressure.

Change is like the beckoning of a dear friend calling you to an adventure.

Allow this moment to invite you into the space of change.

You are open and willing.

You are capable and courageous.

You have everything inside of you.

All the resources,

The knowledge,

The wisdom of the universe to be able to arrive in a space of change and thrive.

To allow change to be your guide,

To be your friend,

To be your safe haven.

To allow change to feel like the fluffiness of a cloud,

Like the warmth of a blanket,

Like the comfort of a warm bath.

What in your life is new and is changing right now?

And how can you see that change is the gift and expand your mind into the consciousness of possibility?

It's your time now to change,

To grow,

To receive,

To ask for help,

To do things in ways you never have given yourself permission or that you've only given yourself permission in very small circles of comfort.

Now is your time to branch out.

And those three questions that we asked our heart just a little bit ago,

What do you need?

What do I need?

And how shall I serve?

May those serve as your guide,

As you enter into spaces that are unknown,

Unfamiliar,

As you enter into experiences of uncertainty.

Allow yourself to thrive,

To bathe in the waterfall of truth,

In the washing away of all the clouds,

Your view and your vision,

Knowing the truth of who you are,

Trusting the truth of who you are,

Trusting the expansiveness of your heart and the path that it lays before you.

Sit in the silence,

Listening to whatever is meant to guide you right now and remembering as you sit in the silence to breathe.

Just be.

Just be.

You are the creator of your reality.

You are the creator of the universe you're living in.

You are the creator of the way you see the world.

Create in your favor.

Create in your favor.

Create so that it serves you.

Create so that it serves people that you love.

Create so that it lands in a way that lifts and lights the darkness.

You are the creator of your universe.

And what you are seeking is seeking you.

What truth you're seeking,

What gift you're seeking,

What results you're seeking,

What support you're seeking,

And the dark moments by yourself as you lay there wondering how it will all turn out.

Know that you are being sought to rise to the full potential that you are,

To the excellence,

To the strength,

To the integrity and honor of your soul,

Of your journey.

Taking another deep breath in,

Cleansing that soul,

That body,

That knowing,

Embracing the change,

Wrapping your arms around it and reassuring it that it will be too okay.

Let change be the personification of possibility,

Of a knowing that all is well,

That you are okay,

And that all of life is okay.

Hug yourself,

Love yourself,

Change is upon us.

Now move your attention into your heart space.

Thank your heart for supporting you through this moment this morning.

Let your heart be the center of your heart.

Let your heart be the center of your heart.

Let your heart be the center of your heart.

Let your heart be the center of your heart.

Let your heart be the center of your heart.

Allow yourself to fill with the gratitude that you have for yourself and for this time that you spent sharing yourself,

Holding yourself,

Being with yourself.

Deep breath in,

Holding at the top,

Gently releasing,

Long and slow,

Bringing your awareness into your feet and your fingers wiggling,

Your toes,

Your fingers,

Bringing your consciousness and awareness back into your body into this moment right now,

Coming into a seated position if you were laying,

Bringing your hands in prayer position in front of your heart,

Bowing your head together in reverence for the journey,

To the adventure,

For the change you just experienced.

You are not the person that came this morning that started this journey.

You already have embraced change.

You already have grown into a new magnificence,

A new relationship to yourself and to change itself.

The light in me honors and sees and acknowledges the light,

Strength and change in you.

I look forward to meeting the new you and sharing in these moments again as we move into the uncertain future.

And together we say namaste.
