Welcome to your guided meditation for recycling your fear into faith.

Before we get started please make sure you're in a comfortable place where you're not driving or operating machinery.

Try and make sure that you won't be disturbed.

So get yourself comfortable as we begin this meditation.

I'd like you now to sit with your hands and feet not quite touching and I'd like you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

So breathe in with me now and a slow breath out and another deep breath in and a slow breath out.

This time as you exhale you're going to make your exhale longer than your inhale to trigger your parasympathetic nervous system and calm your body down.

And as you sit now I'd like you to become aware of your feet.

Feel your feet supported by the earth beneath you and your body supported by the chair or the bed or the couch that you're sitting in.

Just realize that right here right now you have nothing to do.

This is your time.

So as you continue to breathe in and out I'd like you to inhale love and exhale gratitude.

Gratitude that you've taken this time to reconnect to yourself.

And as you inhale and exhale at the rhythm that's right for you I want you to feel your body relax and your nervous system release.

I'd like you to squeeze your head,

Your scalp,

Notice any tension you might be holding.

Your scalp in your forehead,

In your brows,

In your facial muscles,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw,

Any stiffness in your neck and as you continue to breathe in and out you feel all tension melting away just like the wax as a candle melts down.

So feel any tension now just leaving your head and melting down your body.

And as you do you notice any blockages in your throat,

Any soreness,

Any dryness,

Any itchiness.

Or any blockages that are stopping you saying the things that you're feeling at the moment and I invite you to let that melt away just like that wax running down a candle.

And now you move down your body and you feel any tension in your shoulders and as you squeeze your shoulders and relax you feel that moving down your body.

Feel any tightness in your chest melting away and remind yourself again you have nothing to do right now.

You can simply relax and feel the presence of yourself in this moment in this time.

And now I'd like to invite you to place one hand on your stomach and one hand on your chest and as you do become aware of your breath however it is in this moment no judgment just observation.

Taking your time encourage your breath to move down to your stomach.

And now this time as you breathe out begin to imagine that your breath is moving into the earth beneath you.

With every breath you exhale it travels deeper into the earth beneath you.

Now I want you to call forward the fear that your ego has been feeding your mind and would have you believe.

Maybe fear that the world is breaking,

Fear about lockdowns and loved ones,

Fear from going into survival moment,

Fear of lack,

Fear of uncertainty,

Fear of discomfort.

Whatever fear your ego has fed you,

Feel it in your body.

Notice where in your body you hold this fear.

Now when you've located that it might be in your stomach,

In your heart,

On your shoulders.

There's no right or wrong it's whatever is right for you.

So noticing where you're holding this fear and so you don't get lost within the darkness of what our fears might make us believe is the truth.

I want you to see yourself sending that fear down into Mother Earth.

So with every breath out you're sending that fear down deep deep into the earth and repeat this process so that every time you breathe out you can see your breath carrying that fear moving it down into the earth taking any discomfort with it.

And now as you breathe in imagine the grounding steady patient energizing energy of the earth rising up to fill your body connecting you to your life force the light within you your truth the truth you hold within your heart your source of happiness and prosperity your life force that knows your needs have always been met sufficiently enough so that you are here today and your needs will always be met in the future.

So right now all you have is present this present moment to reconnect to your life force this present moment where you are grateful to reconnect to your life force to support yourself through challenges so you can grow and lead from within.

Letting your light keep you grounded on this earth keeping you leading your families your communities so you can keep serving and you also have gratitude for being an influential person through challenging times where you can model to others what resilience and strength looks like.

And now as you continue to breathe in and out in your own pace you let the earth recycle your breath and turn your fear into faith and into action.

So continue to breathe out any remnants of any fear sending it down into the earth and breathe in that faith that strength that resilience that relights your life force and allows you to lead in your family in your community and in your practice.

And you know this is not a one-off practice you know this is a daily practice and every day you remind yourself to listen to this recording and also to make yourself laugh during the day and as you do as you connect to your life force as you laugh you keep your heart open.

So now taking another breath in I want you to say I am safe and as you breathe out repeat the words I am strong.

So breathing in I am safe and breathing out I am strong.

You see you can weather any storm and yes it will test your faith but it will also grow your resilience and you know that one small change in your behavior sends a mammoth ripple across mankind so just by keeping your light shining brightly you can help others relight theirs if theirs have gone out.

You see we've always been okay we are okay and we will always be okay and that's the truth.

So right now accept this invitation from the universe to keep faith and take action to step away from our ego to lead with our light and to lead from within.

And now when you're ready I want you to take another breath in slow breath in and as you do I want you to see to picture a tunnel in front of you it might seem dark but you can see an opening of where you need to go and I want you to walk through that opening take that journey and come back to this time right now this moment this body this chair or bed or settee that you're sat on and when you found this light this room feel connected back into your body to this time to this place I want you in your own time and space to open up your eyes and come back to your full awareness knowing that you've got this I hope you've enjoyed this recording please feel free to share it with anyone in your community who would benefit from this at the moment copyright Natasha Colton Dewhurst 2020
