Created to be listened to during your Shavasana, after a workout, or at any other time. Spending time in Shavasana and listening to this meditation will help to feel joyful and so much lighter. Afterward, you will feel aligned and truly rested. Namaste.
Transcript
Welcome your body into Shavasana.
Don't go off any tension you may still be holding onto.
Any thoughts that might come to you,
Accept them with love and let them go.
Taking a deep inhale through the nose,
Hold there,
Exhale and let it all go.
Inhale again and bring in love and light.
Bring love and light back into the universe.
Take one more deep inhale through the nose and one long exhale out the mouth.
Feeling your body relax and sink into your mat.
Letting go of any thoughts you might have.
Shifting your attention from outward to inward.
If you are distracted by any thoughts or noise,
Just come back to your breath,
To my voice,
To the melody you hear.
Start to bring your awareness to your feet.
Care of any sensations in your feet.
You might want to wiggle your toes to release any tension or just to feel the sensation of your feet moving.
Let your feet drop to the sides of your mat and let everything go.
Send your breath to your feet.
Imagine you are sending your breath through your body down to the tips of your toes.
Start to move your awareness to your ankles.
Toes,
Calves and thighs.
Slowly working your way up your body.
Feeling any sensations in your legs.
You may feel nothing.
You may feel a tingling.
Whatever you feel accepted with love,
Accepted with no judgement.
Whatever you are feeling right now is meant to be.
If your mind starts to wander,
Just come back to your breath and come back to this moment.
Come back to noticing any sensations in your legs.
Hearing that every sensation is not permanent.
Your body feels different every day.
Loving the changes in your body and showing yourself love.
Inhale deeply and on the next exhale let your legs dissolve in your mind.
Bring your focus up the body to your pelvis and lower back.
Feeling your back sinking into your mat.
Letting go of any tension you may hold here.
With each inhale and exhale softening your body a little more.
Relaxing a little more.
Letting go a little bit more.
Move your awareness to your mid back and make your way to your upper back.
Relax and release.
Become aware of the sensations in your muscles and how your back feels when you relax into your mat.
Notice the temperature of your body.
Notice this with no judgement,
Just an observation.
Bring your awareness to your belly.
Letting your belly rise and belly fall with each inhale and exhale.
If you notice any opinions arising about areas of your body,
Let it all go.
Accept and love.
Return to noticing different sensations in your belly.
Bring love to your belly for all it does.
Shifting your focus inward.
Feeling your internal organs and all they do for you.
If you are carrying any tension here,
Breathe it out.
Let it go.
Come back to your breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Observe your chest.
Notice your chest rising and falling with each inhale and exhale.
Notice how your chest moves with your belly.
Notice how the two are connected and synchronised.
When your belly moves,
Your chest moves.
Bring your awareness to your heart and notice your heartbeat.
Feel your heart in your chest and send love to your heart.
Inhale love.
Exhale love.
Showing yourself love and sharing that love with others around you.
Inhale and as you exhale,
Bring your focus to your fingertips and hands.
With each breath,
See if you can send it to your hands.
Bring the breath down the arms to the fingertips.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
You might notice different sensations in your arms.
Every side of your body is different.
Love and accept this.
Enjoy and appreciate the sensations.
Inhale.
And as you exhale,
Release any tension you are holding in your arms.
Feel your arms soften.
Continue to breathe.
Shift your focus to your shoulders,
Neck and throat.
Give extra love and relaxation for this area.
Feel yourself letting go.
Release the tension by sending your breath there.
Again no judgement,
Just awareness.
Visualising any tension leaving your body.
Feel the tension rolling off your shoulders and ease flowing in continuously.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale out the mouth and let it go.
Bring your focus to your face.
To your jaw.
Relax your jaw.
Tap the jaw slightly so you are no longer holding any tension here.
Relax and release.
Simply separate the lips.
Inhale through the nose,
Noticing the cool air and exhale out the mouth,
Noticing the warm air leaving your body.
Your tongue relaxing completely.
Notice your eyes and the darkness behind your eyelids.
Feel this darkness and this peace.
Bring awareness to your third eye chakra.
This is the chakra of intuition,
Wisdom and the sixth sense.
Send love and appreciation there.
Loving inhale,
Loving exhale.
Loving inhale,
Loving exhale.
Scan your entire body.
Notice all of the sensations of your body.
Notice how your breath has changed.
Bring awareness to how relaxed you feel.
Inhale deeply,
Feeling your belly rise.
Exhale out the mouth,
Letting everything go.
Any extra tension you may have,
Let it go.
Relax and release.
Feel the rhythm of the breath move through your entire body.
Feel ease to flow into your body as you relax deeper.
As we come to the end of this practice,
Take the feeling of ease with you.
Take the feeling of appreciation,
Awareness and love with you into your day to day life.
When thoughts start to arise,
Accept them and breathe.
Let your breath guide you.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale out the mouth.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Rock your head from side to side.
Slowly start to wake up the body,
Noticing all of the sensations.
Flutter your eyes open.
Bring your knees into your chest and hug yourself.
Give yourself some extra love.
Place your legs back down and set an intention for yourself today.
Inhale and exhale.
Namaste.
