This practice will help you to invite in a little more awe and curiosity into your life.

Both awe and curiosity are experiences that we have a lot more access to when we're feeling grounded and balanced.

So inviting them into our present experience can help us shift our nervous system into a more calm and balanced state.

I invite you to position yourself wherever you can see some nature.

So it could be outside somewhere.

It could simply be looking out a window.

If you don't have a view of some kind of nature out your window,

It could even be looking at a pot plant or even just a single leaf or looking at the sky.

Find something that is of the natural environment.

And for the next couple of minutes,

I want you to become completely consumed by what you are gazing at.

Allow your eyes to remain soft,

So we're not getting into an intense stare.

But get super curious about what you are seeing,

As though you're seeing it for the first time in your life.

Notice the colors,

The textures,

The shape.

So resist creating a story about it.

Just allow yourself to move into a state of awe and curiosity.

How can you use your eyes and your body and your breath to stay present whilst you are exploring with curiosity this piece of nature,

This scene of nature?

And as you do this,

Stay connected to the ground under you.

Stay connected to your breath.

And just simply allow yourself to observe as though you're seeing this thing for the first time in your life.

Noticing the shapes,

The textures,

The colors.

Just doing this for another 20 seconds or so.

Beautiful.

Now release this practice and pause for a moment.

And just notice your physical experience.
