This meditation is for any time that you're transitioning from one activity,

Time,

Space,

Or role into the next.

You're welcome to do it while you're walking,

Sitting,

Prepping a meal,

Or in any relaxed space where you can breathe,

Focus,

And reconnect with self in the present moment.

This is especially helpful when we wish to intentionally shift out of a particular energy and open to a new moment,

A new energy and presence.

And you will most likely not be the only one who feels your shift.

It can be transformational for others in our lives when we take time to intentionally transition.

You might use this when you shift from home to work or back home again,

From a difficult day back into a state of ease.

It could even be a practice to use at the turn of seasons where you wish to realign with nature and your own inner rhythm,

Since every season truly does offer us different energy.

If at any point you wish to pause and take a bit more time in a section,

Like as you're moving through,

You know,

From toes up to head,

Please feel free to pause and take that time.

This meditation belongs to you,

And it's designed to serve you.

Begin with some mindfulness of your breath.

As you inhale,

Imagine becoming completely and fully present in this moment.

As you exhale,

Release what's not in the now.

And with every breath,

Soften any muscles that are holding too tightly.

Release the most recent time of your day or month or year to the past.

Let it go and call yourself fully into the now.

And starting at your feet,

Begin to become aware of your body and its energy.

Notice your feet and how they feel,

Whether they're on the floor,

Maybe you're walking or standing.

Just notice the quality of the energy there.

Notice your legs and how the muscles feel.

And you're going to just slowly move from your feet all the way up to the crown of your head and really pay attention to each area.

What do you feel in your calves,

In your legs?

What do you notice?

Gradually making your way up your body one area at a time,

Attuning to what is right now.

And feel free to take your time here.

Feel free to pause.

Because perhaps you didn't realize that your hips are achy.

Or your stomach is anxious.

Maybe you didn't feel the pressure in your mid back when you inhaled deeply.

Because you've been busy.

Or maybe your heart feels really open.

So just take your time and move up through the rest of your body.

Noticing whatever areas have something to say.

Honor your body by listening.

And whatever it is,

Simply notice what is true in your body.

Listen to what it wants you to know.

Pause for a moment so you can listen in,

Pay attention to your body.

Again,

Noticing what it needs to say.

Pause if you need more time.

And noticing what your body is saying.

See if you can draw out the learning and the insight from this message.

Take a moment to sincerely thank your body for its constant hard work.

That often appears effortless because we don't really even think about it.

After you've listened to all the areas that need to be heard.

Imagine inviting a sense of love into your body.

A sense of feeling that it's being held by something greater.

Relax into that.

Relax into the sense of support.

Of unconditional love.

Remembering that who you are is beautiful.

Who you are is enough.

And you're doing your best to live this life fully.

Continue to breathe and imagine on the exhale that you can release any tension in your body.

Letting it shake loose or fall away so that you can transition into something new.

Enjoy and welcome the letting go of the tension.

You no longer need it.

It's time to shift.

With your next few exhalations,

Continue to release what is not of this moment.

Release what just was moments ago.

This morning,

Last week,

At work,

At home.

Let it all fall away.

Be here.

Be with breath.

Let go of all the energy you do not need in this moment.

Start to feel yourself transitioning.

Shifting.

Almost as if you're gently rinsing the soap off of a clean glass.

Let everything fall away aside from the clear,

Clean space.

Enjoy it.

Welcome it.

Let go and ease into that clear space now.

Imagining yourself as this clear vessel and ask your inner wise self,

What energy do I wish to invite in at this time?

What type of energy,

What quality of energy would best serve me now as I transition from my recent past into whatever is coming next?

Do you wish to invite in a sense of calm,

Of focus?

Do you wish to be grounded and present in the company of others?

Do you wish to feel complete peace so you can drift off to sleep?

So take a moment and just check in.

What do you wish to invite in?

What does your inner wise self suggest would best serve you in this moment?

Continue to allow the shift.

And then as if a brilliant beam of light fills you and uplifts you,

Welcome in this new energy into all of you in this moment.

Allow it.

Trust it.

Embody it.

Imagine you could align all of your senses and aspects of your physical,

Mental,

Emotional,

And spiritual self with this intentional energy.

Feel it flowing out to fingers,

To toes.

Feel it filling your heart,

Soothing your mind.

Imagine this new energy becomes part of you.

Shifting,

Transitioning from what was into the now and welcoming the energy for what is next.

Breathe it.

Imagine it's easy.

If any lingering past energy remains,

Imagine gently rinsing it from your body and energy.

Imagine it's easy.

If any still remains,

Simply honor it and guide your focus back to your intended incoming energy.

Welcome a sense of deep presence.

Begin to breathe in a way that slowly brings you into the new now.

Thank your body and inner wise self,

Trusting that it guided you beautifully in your transition.

And soon you'll be able to do this energy transition process in a few simple breaths.

Where you start with a breath and listen in for what's true.

Listen to your body's energy.

The next breath is releasing what's not in the now,

Letting it go.

The next breath,

You imagine becoming a clear and present vessel.

Which then folds into attuning to your inner wise self and asking,

What do I need now?

What energy do I wish to invite now to help me transition to what's next?

What energy do I wish to invite now to help me transition to what's next?

And you complete by thanking your body,

Your inner wise self,

And allowing yourself to fully transition into your new now.

Fully and completely present in this intentional energy.

Feel free to stay here a bit longer and enjoy the new energy before fully completing your transition.

And use this any time you need a shift,

However small or large.

Enjoy your transition.
