Welcome beautiful soul.
Today we are going to practice a short midday release with the intention of letting go of any anxiety and stress you may be carrying and to bring peace to the rest of your day.
Settle your body into a comfortable position keeping your spine straight and your neck neutral and gently closing your eyes if you wish.
Let's begin by focusing your attention on your breath.
Just breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your nose.
Noticing the natural rhythm and flow of your breath.
The rise and fall of your chest.
Now let's go a little deeper as we work through three heart breaths together.
Just go ahead and place your hand over your heart and on your next inhale I want you to imagine breathing in through the back of your heart and breathing out through the front.
Let's take two more breaths like this.
Just breathing in through the back of your heart and releasing through the front.
One last time.
Just notice the way the breath feels as it fills your heart space.
Notice the way it feels as you release.
Just find the natural rhythm of your breath again.
Let's bring your awareness to your body.
Just take a moment and let's scan from the crown of your head to your toes.
Just noticing if there are any areas where you are carrying any tension,
Stress or worry.
Any areas where there is a lingering sensation that doesn't belong to you.
And just go ahead and send your breath to that area.
Allowing your breath to expand.
Allowing your breath to bring in calm.
And as you exhale,
Let go.
Let go of any feelings that you are carrying that don't belong to you.
Let go of all stress.
Let go of worry.
Let go of attention.
And just relax.
This time is for you.
And just continue to do this for the next few moments.
And if you find if your mind starts to wander,
Just let go of the thoughts and return to your breath without any judgment.
Scanning from the top of your crown down through the space behind your eyes,
Through your jaw,
Through your neck and down into your chest.
Scanning down through your hands,
Down through your stomach,
Through your legs and all the way down to your toes.
Just noticing any feelings that are foreign.
Any feelings that don't belong to you.
And just let them go.
And as you breathe in,
Let your breath bring you nourishment.
Let your breath bring you healing.
Let your breath bring you release.
Now just take a moment and notice the way this feels.
This stillness.
What does it feel like when you release all of the tension and the anxiety and the stress?
How different does your body feel?
And as you continue to breathe in,
Just imagine a calm wave washing over your body,
Bringing with it the beauty of the freshness of the water.
Letting this water wash away any lingering tension,
Any lingering anxiety,
Fear or doubt.
And as another wave hits,
Envision that this wave washes over you and floods your body with peace,
Caresses your skin with calm and fills every cell of your body with love.
How does it feel when your body has been replenished with pure love?
And as each new wave hits,
This love grows stronger and your body fills.
Let it just lash over you,
Feeling it on your external skin,
Feeling it on your internal organs,
Allowing it to fill all of the spaces within you.
As you're being flooded by this beautiful wave.
Gently bring your awareness back to your body and notice now any shift in the way you feel.
Notice any change in your breath.
Notice any change in your vibration.
Let's just set an intention that as you continue through your day,
If you feel yourself coming to a place of stress,
That you will come back to this moment.
To the feeling of this wave washing over you.
To its caress on your skin.
And you will allow yourself to feel peace and love and release all that is not yours.
Let's just go back to those heart breaths.
Just breathing in through the back of your heart and allowing that pure love to wash through your heart.
Exhaling out through the front and breathing in through the back of your heart.
Just being present with the way it feels and releasing.
Let's do that one last time.
Breathing in and releasing.
And as you move back into the natural rhythm of your breath,
Notice the change.
The shift in your body.
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
