Welcome,

Thank you for joining me today on this meditation practice.

Our lives are complicated,

However if we shift our awareness to the simple things in life it'll bring some balance.

Thank you for joining.

So I ask you,

What's pulling your attention today?

Let's take a step back away from that complicated situation that's pulling your attention.

Keep taking a few steps back.

Simply moving away from it by taking a deep breath in through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

Now let's open our awareness to the simple things.

Find simple as sitting down on the earth as we take that seat.

Feel that steady ground beneath you,

Anchoring into that steadiness and arising from that support.

Let your spine lengthen up towards the sky.

The sky that is filled with patches of floating clouds.

Through those clouds the sun rays start to filter down.

As the sun rays touch your body it warms you from the skin all the way in.

After sensing this warmth you gently close your eyes and continue to absorb the warmth and light of the sun.

Keep absorbing the warmth.

If any busy thoughts surface let the rays of the sun touch those thoughts,

Bringing some clarity.

If any heavy and unsettling feelings arise let the rays of the sun touch those feelings,

Bringing some lightness to your presence.

Now gently shift your awareness to the breath.

The breath that sustains you.

Listen to the ocean-like sounding breath.

The wave-like breaths right underneath the skin.

Drop deep into this breath by taking a long inhale through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

Gently surrender to the natural flow of the breaths and keep listening,

Keep feeling your breath.

Now open your awareness to the air on your skin,

The touch of the air on your skin.

The skin that wraps us like a blanket and shields our bodies.

The air continues to brush the skin,

Brushing away any tension and softening all the way through.

Softening around the eyes,

Around the jaw,

The shoulders.

A softening sensation moving all the way down the body and towards the feet.

Here slowly begin to listen to any sounds in the surrounding space.

Maybe to some subtle sounds in the background.

Or you listen to the sound of your breath or the beat of your heart.

Place your hands on the middle of the heart space.

Keep listening,

Keep feeling.

Open into that sacred heartbeat.

So here I am.

Here I am breathing.

Here I am listening.

Here I am feeling.

Here I am aware of this body that is flowing with life.

This body that sustains me every second without my conscious effort.

This moment is realization of my gratitude for this body and life.

Take a deep breath in and exhale out through the mouth.

One more time,

Take a deep breath in and exhale out through the mouth.

This simple moment softens my tension towards life.

In this moment,

I realize that I don't need to focus on everything that is not going the way I want.

Instead,

This simple moment asks me to be fully present,

To awaken and to experience the flow of life.

This moment asks me to flow with ease,

To flow with ease.

This moment asks me to slow down,

To slow down.

Embrace now.

This moment,

Take a deep breath in and exhale out.

Now bring the palms together to your third eye or between your brow line.

Again,

Take a deep breath in and breathe out through the mouth.

Now bring your palms together to the heart center and into this space,

Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale out through the mouth.

This moment is so simple and beautiful.

When we appreciate life,

We are creating space,

A sacred space in our minds and our hearts,

A sacred space to allow grace and magic to flow through.

So take this simple moment into the world and be at ease.

Namaste.
