Mantra for the day.

Wake up with the senses.

Cultivating sensory awareness.

Taking a few moments to wake up to this vast spaciousness of non-judging awareness in us by returning to our senses.

Tuning into the senses helps bring us out of our minds and into the present moment.

So inviting the mind to relax into your senses.

You can choose to stay with just one sense or move through all of your senses.

Starting by feeling the touch of your clothes,

The patterns of pressure,

Sensations in your feet,

As they make contact with the ground,

The firmness or softness of the floor below your feet,

The air touching your skin,

Resting in this spacious awareness,

The sense of touch,

Turning your attention to the sounds or even the sound of silence,

Receiving the sounds with a non-judging mind,

Just listening.

And now,

As you open your eyes to the gift of seeing,

Shifting to the sense of smell,

Tuning into the subtlest of smells in your environment,

And opening your eyes to the gift of seeing sight,

Pure seeing.

And before we end,

Taking a few moments to listen within,

What's coming up in this vast spaciousness of your awareness,

Reconnecting with what's most important to you in this moment.

And before you begin your next action or interaction,

Integrating your intentions and insights or simply carrying forward this connection with your vast non-judging awareness,

And remembering to return to your senses in between work or whenever you need breaks to wake up to this one wild and precious life.
