Hello and welcome to this meditation.
Please find yourself in a comfortable position,
Perhaps seated upright or lying down.
I invite you to close the eyes or to find a gentle gaze.
Let's take some deep breaths together.
Do a couple more of these on your own,
Letting go of the busy mind and dropping right down into the body.
Let's do one more deep breath together with the intention of dragging any busy energy from the mind down into the body to ground it.
Connecting to our inner home.
Everyone's homes look different,
Feel different and mean something different to everyone.
What if you forgot about the physical home?
What if you started to look inside of you at the self,
At your being and that became your actual home.
Your physical home is the place in which you reside.
You want it to feel homely,
Comfortable and safe.
You want it to be an inviting,
Relaxing place.
Let's think of our inner home in the same way.
You want to feel comfortable,
Safe and relaxed in the body.
To feel at ease and enjoyment in the mind and to feel love and compassion in the heart.
We are going to spend every single day for the rest of our lives in this beautiful sanctuary,
This inner home.
So let's treat it with love and compassion.
In your physical home,
You wouldn't let in people you knew had bad intentions.
You wouldn't want disruption,
Disharmony or disease.
You would of course prefer a sense of peace.
I invite you to consider your inner home now.
What thoughts or actions are you harbouring in your inner home that may be disrupting your inner peace?
These may be unhelpful thoughts and actions from yourself or ones that you are allowing in from others.
Without judgment,
Just consider it now.
What is bringing disharmony to my inner home?
That feeling that arises when you think of these things that are disrupting your inner peace.
I want you to just feel and hold that feeling for three seconds and then let it go.
Just feeling it for three,
Two,
One.
Now let's take three deep breaths and on each inhale think the word peace and breathe in peace.
And on each exhale think release as you let it go.
Okay,
Breathing in peace and on the exhale thinking release.
Let's go again.
Breathe in peace and let go release.
Breathe in peace and on the exhale exhale think release.
Well done.
Now I invite you to consider what makes your inner sanctuary,
Your inner home,
A place where you adore spending time.
A place of harmony,
Ease,
Comfort,
Safety.
What is it that lights up your inner home?
Think of all the things that bring your inner home peace and calm and lights it up with passion and creativity.
Maybe things like dancing,
Self-love affirmations,
Massages,
Nourishing food,
Taking yourself on a date.
Whatever springs to mind,
Just be with it.
I invite you to feel the joy and the love and the light that enters your body when you think about these things.
Allow the love to wash over your entire being as you consider what is it that lights up my inner home?
What brings peace and harmony to my inner home?
I invite you now to feel into these feelings even more.
Actually visualize yourself on that holiday or out for that nice dinner or getting that lovely massage.
What are the feelings that arise from really taking care of your inner home?
Be with these feelings now.
What word comes to mind when you consider your most beautiful,
Harmonious inner home?
Perhaps it's abundance or peace or calm or love.
Just allow that word,
Your word for your inner home arise now.
We are going to take three final deep breaths together and I want you to breathe in that word and really feel it in your heart.
Even place your hand on your heart.
So we're going to breathe in and think of your word as your hand is on your heart.
Let's breathe together and one more deep breath,
Thinking your word,
Feeling your word,
Loving your inner home.
Let's do it together.
Well done.
Take a moment to thank your inner home for everything it does for you.
Give yourself a big hug,
Giving your inner home some love and gratitude.
Make a promise now to your inner home to do one of those things and give yourself a time limit.
Maybe it's today or in the next two or three days.
At least one of those things that lights you up,
That showers your inner home in love,
That brings it,
That brings you to a place of peace and harmony.
They say home is where the heart is.
It truly is.
Your home isn't a physical place.
It's within you and it will journey with you wherever you go.
Treat it with love and care.
Thank you so much from my heart,
My inner home to yours.
Big love.
Take care.
